K-pop star, Goo Hara was found dead on Sunday at her home in Seoul, South Korea. She was 28.
Goo, real name Goo Ha-ra, and also known under the single name Hara, was a former member of the five-part girl group Kara from 2008 to 2015. After that she launched a solo music career, and also accumulated a number of film and TV roles.
The cause of her death is currently unclear. The police have not yet made official report about her death, nor have they confirmed if Goo killed herself.
But it is known that she attempted to commit suicide in March this year after an ex-boyfriend attempted to blackmail her with threats of assault and the release a sex video. Amid the dispute, Goo’s agency terminated her contract.
In June, she signed a new contract with leading talent management agency Production Ogi in Japan, where Kara had enjoyed huge popularity. Under Ogi, Goo appeared on TV shows and major fashion events in Japan. She also released a solo Japanese single “Midnight Queen” on Nov. 13.
It is also known that she was one of the closest friends of the singer-actress Sulli, who killed herself in October. At the time, Goo said in tears that she was okay and would keep working even harder during her Instagram live session.
Since the late 1990s, there has been a succession of deaths among young K-pop talent. Many have complained of depression, other have left more concrete signs of a highly toxic industry that, behind the glamorous and shiny exterior, tramples on human dignity.
In 2009, actress Jang Ja-yeon committed suicide, leaving a note claiming that she had been sexually abused by powerful figures in the entertainment industry. Others were depressed by online criticism about their appearances, personality and their private life-styles. The most recent case was Sulli, who killed herself in October The outspoken star had often found herself the target of cyber-bullying.

Melansir Kompas.com, penetapan Ahok sebagai Komisaris Utama Pertamina akan dilaksanakan pada Senin (25/11/2019) mendatang.
Keputusan pengangkatan mantan Gubernur DKI Jakarta tersebut terlebih dahulu didiskusikan melalui Rapat Pemegang Saham Luar Biasa (RUPSLB) Pertamina .
Staf Khusus Menteri BUMN, Arya Sinulingga membeberkan Ahok akan diminta menjalankan beberapa tugas-tugas seusai resmi dilantik.
"Setelah diputuskan Pak Ahok langsung tugas. Tugasnya melakukan pengawasan, diatribusi, efisiensi dan persoalan kilang-kilang (milik Pertamina )," kata Arya dikutip dari Kompas.com.

Sau vụ tự tử, trên Sankei Sports , ca sĩ xin lỗi vì làm fan lo lắng. "Từ nay, tôi sẽ hàn gắn những vết thương và cố gắng mang tới hình ảnh lành mạnh, tích cực", Goo Hara nói.
Sự nghiệp của Goo Hara xuống dốc năm nay khi cô vướng kiện tụng với bạn trai cũ - Choi Jong Bum. Vụ kiện bắt đầu từ tháng 9/2018, sau khi Goo Hara và Choi Jong Bum ẩu đả tại nhà riêng của nữ ca sĩ. Hara tố cáo anh này phá vỡ đồ đạc, hành hung khiến cô bị xuất huyết tử cung , âm đạo, bị thương đốt sống cổ, mặt và chân. Goo Hara còn tố cáo Choi Jong Bum đe dọa phá tan sự nghiệp của cô bằng video sex .
Cái chết của người bạn thân - Sulli - hồi tháng 10 cũng là cú sốc tinh thần lớn với Goo Hara. Cô từng livestream, khóc nức nở khi nói: "Chị cũng muốn tới nơi đó. Sulli à, chị yêu em. However, prior to that point, Giuliani had been cultivating relationships in Ukraine, even reportedly meeting with then-Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in 2017. • In his July 25, 2019, phone call with Zelensky, Trump specifically asked the Ukrainian president to work with Giuliani in his efforts to investigate Biden. • Giuliani also pushed for the firing of the former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch; Trump specifically cited her firing in his phone call with Zelensky. • According to The Washington Post, Giuliani has been running a “shadow Ukraine agenda” on Trump’s behalf for months, circumventing administration officials tasked with overseeing the official U.S. agenda toward Ukraine. • Giuliani has repeatedly implicated the U.S. State Department in his efforts, claiming that not only did its officials help him set up his contacts with Ukrainian officials but that they also had specifically instructed him to maintain the contacts. At least one State Department official, U.S. special envoy to Ukraine Kurt Volker, has been confirmed to have been involved with Giuliani. Volker has since resigned. To what extent did these individuals know the purpose of his interactions with Ukraine? • Giuliani likely knew about Trump’s decision to withhold military aid from Ukraine, as it was reported in the press. What communications did he and Trump have regarding the withholding of aid and the effort to pressure Ukrainians into investigating Biden? Did Giuliani understand that aid was being withheld as part of the pressure campaign? • Does Giuliani hold an active security clearance? In the course of running this shadow foreign policy effort, did Giuliani improperly access or handle classified government information? Attorney General William Barr In Trump’s call with Zelensky, he instructed the Ukrainian president to work with William Barr on investigating Biden, stating, “I am also going to have Attorney General Barr call and we will get to the bottom of it”—though Barr denies being asked to do this. Barr also reportedly pushed Trump to discuss the U.S. Department of Justice’s (DOJ) investigation into the Robert Mueller probe with Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison. • In his phone call with Zelensky, Trump specifically told the Ukrainian president that he would be able to work with Barr on the investigation into the Bidens. • Barr has thus far failed to recuse himself from issues related to the whistleblower complaint about Trump’s phone call with Zelensky, even though the complaint specifically notes that Trump mentioned Barr on the call. • Recent reports suggest that the DOJ may have been informed about the whistleblower complaint by the CIA general counsel well before the intelligence community’s inspector general became involved. Barr’s DOJ allegedly took no action to protect the whistleblower or alert congressional overseers. • Under Barr, the DOJ’s Office of Legal Counsel advised acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire that he was not required to share the whistleblower complaint with Congress, helping the administration continue to cover up Trump’s call with Zelensky. • In a hearing on May 2, 2019, Barr dodged questions from Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) as to whether Trump had ever asked him to open an investigation into anyone. • Barr also reportedly pushed Trump to speak with the Australian prime minister “explicitly for the purpose of requesting Australia’s help in the Justice Department review of the Russia investigation.” Some questions for Barr:

From the first offensive snap of his first start against the Bears two weeks ago, Driskel was fully into the game. He was prepared for his opportunity, despite being the backup to an iron-man quarterback who had started 136 straight games before being sidelined by back and hip injuries.
Driskel’s mobility has been an asset that adds a dimension to offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell’s play calling, and his command of the huddle has been solid. And after having a TD pass and a bad interception against the Bears, he threw two TD passes without a turnover against the Cowboys.
All things considered, Driskel has improved his resume – but with one big box to check with the Lions. Winning is the most important box. Quarterbacks are defined by wins and losses more than any other position in the NFL.
Driskel had a 1-4 record as the Bengals’ starter at the end of last season. He is not solely responsible for the losses in his two starts with the Lions – especially considering the defense gave up three TD passes to Mitchell Trubisky of the Bears, and 509 total yards to the Cowboys last week.
“That’s what we're all here to do, is win football games,” Driskel said. “We’ve been close in these last couple of games. But that’s the NFL. All games are close, and we have to find a way to win.
