Pada aplikasi media sosial Facebook, pengguna tidak dapat mem-posting.

Tribun-Timur.com pada sekitar pukul 23:30 Wita, Kamis, tidak dapat mem-posting berita melalui fanpage.

Terdapat tulisan, "Facbook Will Back Soon. Facebook is down for required maintenance right now, but you should be able to get back on within a few hours. (Facbook Akan Segera Kembali. Facebook sedang dalam perbaikan oada saat ini, tetapi Anda bisa kembali dalam beberapa jam)."

Demikian penyampaikan Facebook ketika lamannya diakses.

Ada pula tertulis, "Sorry, something went wrong. We’re working on getting this fixed as soon we can. (Mohon maaf, ada yang salah. Kami sedang berupaya untuk memperbaikinya sesegera mungkin)."

Sementara di Instagram yang dimiliki Facebook tertulis, "Couldn't refresh feed (tidak dapat memberbarui umpan)."

Instagram is down, according to some of its users.

A huge number of people rushed to complain that the photo sharing website had broken.

The outage comes on Thanksgiving morning in the US, leading many to joke that they had been forced to engage with their family members.

The problems are being seen across the world, according to tracking website Down Detector.

But it does not appear to be affecting all users, with some accounts able to load as normal. Others suggested that only certain parts of the app, such as viewing someone's profile, is broken.

Problems were also reported at Facebook, which owns Instagram. Users reported they were unable to get online on that site, too.

WhatsApp, which is the other major part of Facebook's empire of social networks, did not appear to be affected by the outage.

All three apps are thought to share much of the same underlying infrastructure, which means that problems on one of the services are usually echoed by problems at the other two.

This summer, all three of the apps went down for almost a day, causing problems across the internet and likely costing the company vast sums of money.

Facebook plans to merge the three platforms so that they have one shared back-end, Mark Zuckerberg has said, which will presumably mean that the apps are even more likely to go down together.

Dilansir dari okezone, pelamar CPNS dapat mengikuti langkah-langkah dalam mendaftar pada alur pendaftaran CPNS melalui web SSCASN. Informasi seputar pendaftaran CPNS ini bisa dilihat di buku panduan dari BKN yang bisa pelamar unduh.

BKN tidak merekomendasikan pelamar menggunakan HP dalam mendaftar CPNS. Hal ini dilakukan untuk menghindari kesalahan dalam menginput data. BKN menyarankan agar menggunakan komputer atau laptop dalam mendaftar.

Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger are down for many around the world (Update: Back up!)

If you’re having issues with various Facebook -owned services this morning, you’re very much not alone.

There appears to be a major outage impacting Instagram, Messenger, and Facebook itself.

Update: As of about 9:30 AM Pacific the services appear to be coming back online.

Many users are reporting that the apps appear to work but aren’t actually pulling anything new, instead just showing whatever they’ve got cached from before the servers went down. Others can’t even get the page to load.

Messenger messages, meanwhile, just sit indefinitely in a not-quite-sent state — so if you’re using Messenger to figure out who’s bringing what to Thanksgiving dinner, you might want to switch platforms for a bit.

A sudden influx of Down Detector user reports suggest that the outage started at roughly 6 AM Pacific.

Chinese-owned social network TikTok has apologised to a US teenager who was blocked from the service after she posted a viral clip criticising China's treatment of the Uighur Muslims.

The firm said it had now lifted the ban, maintaining it was due to 17-year-old Feroza Aziz's prior conduct on the app - and unrelated to Chinese politics.

Additionally, the firm said "human moderation error" was to blame for the video being taken down on Thursday for almost an hour.

TIkTok, owned by Beijing-based ByteDance, has insisted it does not apply Chinese moderation principles to its product outside of mainland China.

Ms Aziz posted on Twitter that she did not accept the firm's explanation.

"Do I believe they took it away because of a unrelated satirical video that was deleted on a previous deleted account of mine? Right after I finished posting a three-part video about the Uighurs? No.”

In an interview with BBC News reporter Vivienne Nunis, Ms Aziz said: "I will continue to talk about it, and I will talk about it on Twitter, on Instagram, on any platform I have, even TikTok.

"I'm not scared of TikTok, even after the suspension. I won't be scared of TikTok.”

Eric Han, TikTok's head of safety for the US, said Ms Aziz had been banned earlier this month after she posted a video containing an image of Osama Bin Laden.

"While we recognise that this video may have been intended as satire," Mr Han said, "our policies on this front are currently strict.”

When TikTok bans users, it also prevents the same device being used to set up another account.

It was on a new account, set up on the same device, that Ms Aziz posted her video about the Uighurs, done in the style of a make-up tutorial, a popular genre on the network.

TikTok said that account was disabled after it ran a "platform-wide enforcement" that locked out Ms Aziz's device, as well as 2,406 devices belonging to other users who had fallen foul of the site's policies.

Mr Han wrote: "Because the user's banned account (@getmefamousplzsir) was associated with the same device as her second account (@getmefamouspartthree), this had the effect of locking her out of being able to access her second, active account from that device.

"However, the account itself remained active and accessible, with its videos continuing to receive views.”

But on Thursday morning, the viral video - which has been viewed more than nine million times, across multiple networks - was also removed from TikTok, due to what Mr Han described as a "human moderation error”.

"It's important to clarify that nothing in our community guidelines precludes content such as this video, and it should not have been removed," he said.

"We would like to apologise to the user for the error on our part this morning.”

Rapid growth, added scrutiny

Human Rights Watch told the BBC that a lack of transparency is deserving of increased scrutiny.

"It is hard for outsiders to know the real reasons for the suspension of Aziz’s account," said Yaqiu Wa, the non-profit's China researcher.

"TikTok does not make public the data on the videos it removes or the users it suspends, or the artificial intelligence tools it uses to determine the removals and suspensions.

"While TikTok has repeatedly stressed that it does not take orders from the Chinese government in terms of what content it promotes or removes outside of China, it has done little to quench the suspicion, given that all Chinese companies are not only accountable to its shareholders, but also to the Chinese Communist Party."

The incident marks an early, high-profile censorship dispute for TikTok, a network which has exploded in popularity over the past two years.

Globally, the app has now been downloaded 1.5 billion times, according to mobile intelligence analysts Sensor Tower.

It looks set to end 2019 as the third most-downloaded non-gaming app, ahead of rivals Facebook and Instagram.

That surge in popularity has caused concern in Western markets, due to the nature of its Chinese ownership.

In the US, TikTok's deal to buy Musical.ly, a music-based social network, is now being examined by the US Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States. The committee is looking specifically at data storage and privacy practices.

In February the firm was handed the largest ever fine for a US case involving children's data privacy. The company agreed to pay $5.7m (£4.3m) over its handling of data on users who were under 13, acquired thanks to its takeover of Musical.ly.

In 2018, Instagram launched a very exciting feature called Instagram live. Some of us already know how to use it and are already experiencing the benefits of exploiting this awesome feature to generate brand awareness, profitability, and audience/customer loyalty.

Although it has been around for a while now, not everybody is quite familiar with it. Instagram live allows users to interact with their audience in real-time, very similar to Facebook Live (parent company) but with some differences. For example, as soon as the live broadcasting ends, the video may disappear.

Another innovative feature Instagram added to its Live platform is a highlighted rim around the user’s profile picture when broadcasting live. Notifications are sent to all their followers to let them know that they can view new content, promos and ads from their favorite accounts/influencers. Adding hashtags to get discovered by different audiences can also increase any chances of acquiring new followers.

But how can you take advantage of Instagram's live video to accomplish your company’s business goals?

Below, I will explain five unique ways you can squeeze Instagram Live like a lemon and successfully advertise yourself, your product or brand eventually maximizing online visibility (and gain some followers along the way).

1. Have a purpose.

Creating random videos can be fun but it won’t give you any measurable results, make sure to create a strategy for your brand’s content by sharing unique and exclusive videos. Below are some examples:

Do a live Q&A with your audience

Live videos are always a great way of engaging with your audience and answer any type of questions your followers may have. You will be showing your audience that your company has a face and a heart; that there is a dedicated team “behind the scenes” compromised to the brand and its followers, this will eventually create a strong relationship with your brand, as well as bring you, loyal followers.

Give incentives or promote any type of event coming up soon.

Followers love free stuff — who doesn’t? Live videos are the perfect tool to create a strong hype. Some of the incentives can be a promotional code, free products, experiences or a chance to enter a contest for a nice prize.

Ask for feedback.

Take advantage of this direct contact with your followers, and ask them for any feedback while communicating with your audience to understand in what ways you can improve your business.

2. Give yourself a tech test run.

Make sure to practice beforehand starting your live streaming, to avoid committing mistakes with the image resolution or video size. Making mistakes is common and can be seen as humanizing the brand, making your business more relatable, however, recording some test videos will minimize your margin of error and will help you get a clear vision on what specific areas of your broadcast you should adjust before going live.

Some of the questions you may want to ask yourself before going live:

Is the lighting ok?

Is the audio clear?

Is the background the right one?

Are there too many filters?

Is the script attractive?

Having in mind those questions and properly addressing them will help you avoid the most common mistakes we usually see during thousand of live broadcasts. Don’t let yours be one of them.

3. Take advantage of the urgency.

You know that your audience will only have one chance to watch your live video unless you offer them the choice to do otherwise (in your live account settings). Create a sense of fear of missing out (FOMO) with your audience, make them feel they cannot afford to miss your content. Additionally according to the experts at Sprout Social: “A great way to boost your viewership is to promise one-time-only promotions while you’re building hype for your stream. […] Offering limited-time-only promo codes is a great way to boost urgency.”

Another interesting tip is hiding your story for x,y,z users. If you would like to customize who can and who cannot see your content before starting your live video go into settings and select “Hide story” and add all the people and competitors you would like your story to be hidden from to lessen the chances of your concepts, and promos from being copied.

4. Promote all your Instagram live videos in advance.

This is a key factor to make sure your live video will be successful. Since social media is a two-way street, it works perfectly when you are sharing content with your audience as well as listening to them, that is why creating the perfect atmosphere when launching a product is extremely important.

Your goal will always be and should always be to boost engagement, drive connections and gain new followers along the way.

Let the world know what your brand is about to launch by taking advantage of the “explore” page since it is the best way to reach large groups and new audiences. Why you should promote Instagram videos in advance? Not only because of the aforementioned but because the Instagram algorithm will allow your live video to be on the “explore” page for new audiences to discover it, only if you get enough engagement and viewers on your broadcast, therefore make sure to build a big audience before pressing the “Live” button.

Facebook and its sister app Instagram are to block under-18s from viewing sexual content, The Telegraph has learned.

The online platforms will tighten their policy on nudity and sexual activity by hiding raunchy adverts, sexually explicit artworks and fictional depictions of sex.

Facebook confirmed to The Telegraph that it will “age-gate” such content, making it invisible to users under the age of 18, probably beginning in early 2020.

The new policy represents a significant toughening of Facebook's stance on sexual content, which already bans most explicit material but makes an exception for artworks and allows "implicit sexual activity" in adverts and fiction.
