"Masih nggak percaya, masak sih anak presiden naik low cost airlines. Sendirian pula nggak ada ajudan. Ternyata itu bener kaesang," kata netizen wanita. "Aku lihat dia sholat abis itu makan buka puasa seadanya. Setelah landed di Jakarta pun, aku pikir habis pramugari bukain pintu ada ajudannya atau siapapun. Ternyata tidak dia turun tangga, jalan ke imigrasi bersama penumpang lainnya."

Twitter

Sang wanita terharu sekaligus kasihan karena anak-anak Jokowi kena imbas dibully banyak pihak. "Terharu dan sedih, keluarga selowprofile itu masih dibully pencitraan, kurang kadar keislamannya dll," kata sang wanita.

Namun walau dipuji, Kaesang tetap merendah. Ia malah menganggap pujian tersebut terlalu berlebihan.

"Ini lebay sih sumpah," kata Kaesang. "SAYA PAKE MASKER BIAR KAYAK ARTIS ARTIS KOREA."

Celetukan Kaesang yang mengaku nyamar jadi artis Korea itu disambut dengan tawa oleh netizen. "Maksudnya artis korea yang gagal debut mas?" canda netter. "Kaesang receh hahaha," seru netter.

"Yang katanya mirip D.O exo Iya sama. Sama sama kalo foto ngasih jempol doang," seru netter. "Sebelum dan sesudah pakai masker ya @kaesangp rasakan sensasinya," canda netter.

Twitter

Tak disangka, kakak Kaesang, Gibran Rakabuming juga ikutan bicara. "Pencitraan," ledek Gibran. "Siap mas," balas Kaesang.Sebelum dan sesudah pakai masker ya @kaesangp rasakan sensasinya

Netter sempat kasihan pada Kaesang lantaran digoda Gibran. Mereka lantas mengingatkan Gibran supaya berhati-hati pada popularitas Kaesang.

"Wkwkwkwk ojo jahat2 mas sama adek sendiri kasian mbo bully teros," ujar netter. "Sebuah ancaman baru mas, hati" pemilu 2024 lawan adek sendiri wkwkw," canda yang lainnya.

D.O. will be enlisting on 1 July (Picture: Han Myung-Gu/WireImage)

EXO star D.O. has confirmed he will be enlisting in the military on 1 July.

The 26-year-old could reportedly legally delay his enlistment until 2021.

However, this week, it was reported that the K-pop star was voluntarily beginning his mandatory military service this summer.

And now, SM Entertainment has confirmed D.O. will enlist as an active duty soldier in just over a month.

A statement from the agency read: ‘D.O. has received a summons for mandatory service for this July 1, and he plans to enlist accordingly.’

The For Life singer shared a letter on EXO’s fanclub site, saying: ‘Hello, this is D.O. of EXO.

Xiumin has already enlisted (Picture: Han Myung-Gu/WireImage)

‘EXO-Ls, the sudden news must have been surprising for everyone right?

‘I wanted to first share the news [with you], so I have a heavy heart because I feel like it’s a little late. I’m posting this letter because I wanted to let you know that as much as this decision was made after lots of consideration, I will return [after serving] healthily and safely.

‘I sincerely thank EXO-Ls, who are always supportive, and I hope that everyone will always be healthy and have [days] that are filled with things that make you laugh. I will carefully serve and return to greet you all with a healthy image.’

D.O., real name Doh Kyung-soo, has asked that his enlistment location and time be kept private.

Earlier this month, D.O.’s EXO bandmate Xiumin – the eldest of the group at age 29 – enlisted in the armed forces on 7 May.

Judging by their ages, Suho will possibly enlist by next year, while Chanyeol, Chen and Baekhyun are expected to enlist by 2021.

Finally, Kai and Sehun, both born in 1994, will have to enlist by 2023 – meaning EXO may not be back together as a full group unil 2025.

As well as taking a break from EXO as part of his mandatory draft, D.O. will be taking some time out from acting, after starring in successful films including My Annoying Brother and Swing Kids, and TV series including 100 Days My Prince.

Tourism Toronto

Toronto has rightly earned its title as Canada’s cultural and culinary capital. Thanks to its multicultural ethos, the city offers one of North America’s most diverse and outstanding arrays of restaurants, markets and cultural attractions. Add to that a creative cocktail scene and an impressive selection of luxe boutique hotels where travelers can recoup from all that eating and drinking, there’s no better time to come see the TDot show off. Whatever your reason for visiting the vibrant metropolis, here’s some not-to-be missed attractions, hotels and restaurants.

Tourism Toronto

WHERE TO STAY

Proof that Toronto is the place to be is evident in the incredible amount of new hotel openings in the city over the last few years. Arguably the newly opened Ritz-Carlton Toronto is the belle of the ball when it comes to Toronto’s ultra-luxe, 5-star properties. Located in the heart of the downtown area, the oh-so-elegant hotel offers modern decor, upscale amenities and solicitous service. On your itinerary, you’ll want to be sure to include a stop at its acclaimed TOCA Italian restaurant. If you’re looking for a boutique hotel then check out Bisha Hotel Toronto. Set in the city’s Entertainment District, Bisha exudes Hollywood glamour and several of its suites were designed by Lenny Kravitz. The hotel is also home to a popular speakeasy bar, an amazing rooftop terrace with pool and an eponymous Korean restaurant run by Michelin-starred chef Akira Back.

Located in what was once a notorious gentlemen’s club, The Broadview Hotel is among the city’s most talked about properties and it oozes a hip-and-happening vibe. It’s set in Leslieville, currently among Toronto most exciting, revitalized neighborhoods filled with lots of local, unique stores. Old souls looking for a luxurious spot that also offers the chance to tap into Toronto’s history will want to spend a night at the nearly 100-year old Fairmont Royal York—it’s one of the city’s most storied hotels.

WHERE TO EAT

While many cities may claim to have a multicultural spirit, Canada’s welcoming immigration policies and nurturing nature have led to Toronto being one of the most diverse and culturally eclectic metropolises in North America. That’s good news for foodies because the city has a veritable smorgasbord of flavors on offer and there’s a food experience to fit any budget, from extraordinary fine dining to succulent street food.

One of the most unique special additions to Toronto’s culinary menu has to be Kūkŭm Kitchen. It’s the city’s first indigenous fine-dining restaurant. Chef Joseph Shawana, of the Wikwemikong Unceded Reserve on Ontario’s Manitoulin Island, will get your palate jumping with fare like sous vide elk loin, braised bison and pine needle sorbet.

The Broadview Hotel

Not only one of the city's trendiest hotels, The Broadview also has one of the most acclaimed eateries in the city, The Civic, (which was voted one of the city's best new restaurants in 2018). Be sure to grab a drink on the property's wow-worthy rooftop complete with jaw-dropping views. Constantine is another new restaurant on Toronto’s hot food scene that’s getting rave reviews for its original take on Mediterranean cuisine (the Lebanese dirty rice is a favorite). Famed Toronto restauranteurs, Grant van Gameren and Owen Walker, show off their gourmand gusto with Quetzal, an updated take on Mexican food that includes a mouth-watering variety of ceviche. Consistently ranked as one of the best restaurants in the country, Alo is the place to be when you’re looking to go all out for a high-end dining experience TDot style.

If you’re pressed for time, but want to nosh on as much authentic, casual (and incredibly affordable) food as possible, you have to hit Kensington, Toronto’s most eclectic and food-centric ‘hood. Some of the must-hit stops include Rasta Pasta (a surprisingly delicious fusion of Jamaican and Italian food; Dreadlock lasagna anyone?), Pow Wow Café (Indigenous food) and Emporium Latino, a Salvadorian grocery store that offers homemade take-out, like tamales and pupusas, from a small kitchen at the back. You'll also want to enjoy some humus and pita at Livelihood Project, a non-profit cafe that trains refugees how to work in the food service industry.

The can’t-be-missed food market in Toronto is definitely St. Lawrence Market. It’s one of North America’s largest and it’s where you can get an awesome peameal bacon sandwich (said to be the city’s signature bite). To really discover the city's food scene, a food tour is always a good way to go and Toronto’s got plenty to choose from. A popular company (that also offers a Kensington-specific tour) is Tasty Tours or if you’re looking to explore Toronto’s cocktail and bar scene, check out Drink Toronto.

WHAT TO DO

There are some iconic experiences that really should not be missed. The CN Tower, once the tallest building in the world, still provides the best views of the city. Adrenalin-junkies will want to sign up for the Edgewalk: a walk along the exterior of the observation pod, 1168 feet in the air. Nearby, you’ll find one of the newest additions to Toronto’s must-do landscape, Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada; it hosts more than 16,000 sea critters and you can even snorkel with stingrays.

Even if you’re not typically a museum goer, be sure to at least take a look at the exterior of Toronto’s Royal Ontario Museum. Half futuristic pyramid, half historic building, it’s an amazing site to behold and the exhibitions are world-class. Art lovers will enjoy perusing the over 95,000 works at the Art Gallery of Ontario. Or for something totally different and wholly engaging, stop in at the one-of-a-kind Bata Shoe Museum, which offers a display of thousands of shoes from different time periods and designers.

Another of the city’s most unique—and widely beloved—attractions are the Toronto Islands. Comprised of three main islands (and a series of smaller islets), you can take a quick ferry ride tour to these verdant, charming spots. Filled with walking trails, bike paths and beaches, they’re a perfect reprieve for families seeking a break from the hustle of Toronto.
