LOVE Island 2018 star Kendall Rae-Knight was hoping to find her dream man in Love Island after her engagement fell through.

Kendall Rae-Knight, 26, is a retail manager from Blackpool.
Kendall is a former beauty queen who ended her modelling career after meeting her ex-fiance.
During her pageantry days, the 26-year-old was crowned Miss North West and was also a Miss England finalist in 2015.
She is also close friends with Love Island 2016's Zara Holland.
The pair met on the pageant circuit and they both competed for Miss England in 2014.

The retail manager admitted before entering the villa that her biggest worry is rejection, as she accepts her confidence is lower than the rest of the girls, having just come out of a long-term relationship.
"I’m looking for something long-term," Kendall enthused. "I have seen previous series when people have got together and stayed together and I do genuinely want to find someone.
"I don’t know what I’m looking for in terms of type, as this is something that’s very new to me having come out of a five-year relationship.
"Hopefully I get to pick up dating tips from the other girls. I will need some help."
But it all ended in tears for Kendall as after trying to make things work with Adam, he left her for Rosie and Kendall became the first 2018 contestant to leave Love Island.

Was Kendall engaged before Love Island?
The Sun exclusively revealed that Kendall was left heartbroken and forced to move out of the home she shared with her man Michael Clark after he broke off their engagement.
The former beauty queen was in a five-year relationship with Michael before he popped the question.
However the engagement only lasted 12 weeks.
"This time last year I was engaged, had a house, and I was all settled down ready to have children," Kendall explained.
"He proposed in the June and then three months later said he didn’t love me anymore. He left."
Despite the heartbreak, Kendall insisted there was no "bad blood" between them.

When is Love Island on ITV2?
Love Island series four kicked off on Monday, June 4 on ITV2.
The show is airing at 9.00pm six nights a week – only taking a break on Saturdays – over eight weeks.
Caroline Flack has presented Love Island since it returned to TV in 2015 and is joined once again by voice-over artist Iain Stirling.
2017's winner Kem Cetinay is also back to host a daily spin-off podcast entitled The Morning After with TV presenter Arielle Free.

But, in her first interview since leaving the show during tonight’s episode, the 26-year-old admitted she did find it hard to cope in the villa and said she never expected to be so emotional.

Kendall said: “People don’t know the full situation with me and my ex. It’s not that I’m not over him, I am over him.
“I could have had months of begging for him to take me back and I didn’t do that once. It’s not that I’m not over my ex, but compared to everyone else maybe I found it a little bit harder because I’m not used to dating.
“Tonight was the right time to go on but I found it a lot harder than everyone else. I cried a lot in the villa but I’m not normally that emotional.”

“When Adam and Rosie kissed, it does make you feel gutted but they’re into each other so it just has to happen.
“I don’t regret applying for the show, I’ve grown as a person and I’ve learnt it’s good to follow your gut instinct.
“I’ve got insecurities but I’m really happy with how everything went.”

In her first interview since exiting the ITV2 show she told the Sun’s Bizarre column this year’s show could be the first to have no nookie.
Kendall, 26, who insisted she would have sex on TV before going on, said: “I don’t think there’s anyone in there particularly that will. I think all of the girls said they wouldn’t.
“No one’s said to me, ‘I’m open to doing it’.
“I haven’t had any conversations with any of the boys that had mentioned anything about that.
“It’s really strange when you’re in there you probably think that’s all we’re talking about but it never really comes up in conversation well not yet anyway.”

The former beauty queen from Blackpool coupled up with Coventry lad Niall Aslam, 23, when the show began on Monday.
But Geordie hunk Adam was given the power to take any of the girls from the boys and opted for Kendall.
The pair hit it off and kissed on their first date.
However Adam became frustrated by Kendall’s slow-paced movement of their relationship and with the introduction of fiery Rosie he jumped ship and snogged her.

She said: “I think he just wants someone who wants to move it on at a quicker place.
“I do think I would’ve got there eventually as I was really attracted to him. Even when he said, ‘Let’s call it a day’ and got with Rosie and kissed her, I wasn’t going to jump ship and save myself because I was in to Adam.
“But they were ready. Maybe Rosie is just more open than I was.”

She added: “Maybe it was holding me back a little bit but it doesn’t mean I wasn’t not over him. I didn’t go on there to get back at him I went on there for me.
