Molly Windsor, 20, triumphed ahead of Claire Foy, for The Crown, and Thandie Newton for Line of Duty.

The British actress, who played Holly Winshaw, a 14-year-old victim in Three Girls, dedicated her award to the bravery of the abused girls and their struggle for justice. The drama also won best mini-series.
Netflix won its first major television Bafta as Vanessa Kirby was honoured for her role as Princess Margaret in The Crown. The award confirms Netflix’s arrival as a force in British TV. The streaming service was snubbed at last year’s ceremony despite being nominated in five categories.
