Twitch Prime is like the gift that keeps on giving. Each month, Twitch users with Amazon Prime get numerous freebies, ranging from free games to free in-game items--including free Fortnite gear. Epic Games has just announced Fortnite Twitch Prime Pack #2, which includes exclusive free cosmetics and other items for Fortnite players with Twitch/Amazon Prime subscriptions. Here's what you'll get and how to get it.
Starting May 9, Twitch Prime subscribers will be able to grab Fortnite Twitch Prime Pack #2. To claim your pack, link your Epic and Twitch accounts, then click on the crown next to the search bar on Twitch. Here's what you'll receive:
Exclusive Battle Royale Trailblazer Outfit
Exclusive Battle Royale True North Back Bling
Exclusive Battle Royale Tenderizer Pickaxe
Exclusive Battle Royale Freestylin' Emote
Note that, according to Epic's announcement, "While you can only claim your Twitch Prime loot on a single platform (PC, Mac, PlayStation 4 or Xbox One), your content is shared and available to use across PC/console and mobile, as long as you use the same Epic account. Content is not shared between Xbox One and PS4, even if you use the same Epic account."
Now is a good time to hop into Fortnite, thanks to the arrival of Thanos from Avengers: Infinity War. If you'd like some help completing this week's challenges, be sure to check out our guide to Fortnite's challenges for Week 2 of Season 4.
And if you haven't claimed Fortnite Twitch Prime Pack #1, you still can. Plus you can still grab free Twitch Prime PC games for May--which include games like Gone Home and Psychonauts. While you're at it, you can pick up some free Heroes of the Storm loot as well.

Update: Well, almost as soon as I wrote this article, the new Fortnite Prime Loot Pack went live, and you can redeem it for yourself right here. So if you missed the old one, I hope my 30 minute warning may have helped you. I do think pack #2 is better than the original, so be sure not to miss it. You'll have a long while to redeem it, but you might as well do it now!
The original article follows below:
--
New Twitch Prime loot arrives in Fortnite: Battle Royale today, which will mark the second time the game and Twitch have joined forced to give players prizes. The new pack contains a skin, back bling, an awesome pickaxe and an emote, but some may not know that it’s not joining the old loot, but replacing it.
What that means is that right this second is your last chance to redeem the original loot pack, which contained two skins, a pickaxe and a glider, before it goes away forever. Well, maybe not forever, but we don’t actually know when or if it will return.
If you’ve only started playing Fortnite in the last little while, there’s a good chance you may have actually missed this original pack, and as such, you only have a few more hours to redeem it, as the second pack is about to go live this afternoon. As a reminder, here are the steps to redeem Twitch Prime loot in Fortnite:
Step 1: Go to Epic Games‘ website to link your Epic and Twitch accounts. Follow the on-screen instructions as to ensure your Twitch account is linked with your Epic Games account. Complete the final steps to claim your content.
Step 2: Log in to Fortnite and get your free loot.
While I don’t think the original skins in the Prime pack are anything to write home about, it’s definitely worth it to get them for free to add to your collection. The new skin in Pack #2 is a female version of one of the soldiers from the Battle Pass for season 4, so you won’t want to miss her either. But honestly, I think the real star of the show is the pickaxe, the Tenderizer, which for my money, is one of the best ones in the game so far. While I might not use most of this Prime loot, you can bet that I’m going to be equipping that one for sure.
But again, don’t miss out on the old free stuff either. I don’t know exactly when the new loot pack goes live, as it could be any minute, so as soon as you read this, go redeem your old prizes if you haven’t yet.

If you’re a Twitch Prime member and Fortnite fan, now’s the time to cash in.
Starting on Wednesday, Twitch Prime members are eligible to receive four new exclusive loot packages for Fortnite. In a blog post on Tuesday, Twitch said that its Prime users will get free access to the Battle Royale Trailblazer outfit, Truth North back bling, the tenderizer pickaxe, and a “freestylin’ emote” that will let you prompt your character to dance in the game.
While the loot won’t necessarily mean the difference between victory and loss in the wildly popular game, players might want to add the loot to their character to distinguish themselves in the title.

Indeed, loot has become an increasingly important part of the broader Fortnite experience. The game, which is available on most major platforms, including the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, is arguably the most popular video game right now. The title is an online battle royale game that pits players across the world against each other. It’s addicting, it’s fun, and chances are, if you’re not playing it but you have kids, they’re either playing it right now or dreaming about playing it when they get home from school.
In order to claim the loot, you’ll need to be a Twitch Prime subscriber. If you’re already an Amazon Prime subscriber, you can be a Twitch Prime subscriber for free. In addition to free loot each month, you can also get ad-free viewing on one of the Twitch streaming video channels you watch, among other perks.
Once you’re signed in to your Twitch Prime account, simply go here and click the link inside the blog post to claim your loot pack. Next time you start up Fortnite on the console or PC of your choosing, your loot will be available to you.
