Rapper Rick Ross has been hospitalised with a mystery medical condition, according to TMZ.
The Aston Martin Music musician has been the subject of multiple reports about his health after he was found unresponsive at home in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The news site reports that Rick was taken to a Miami hospital after someone called the emergency services at around 3.30am on Thursday when they found him 'in distress' and "slobbing out the mouth".
According to a call for service report seen by local media, cops from the Davie Police Department arrived at Rick's home near Tree Tops Park in Miami to respond to a "combative patient with seizures", but the log doesn't confirm whether he was taken to hospital.

"They were trying to wake him up and he was slobbing out the mouth ... He is just nodding his head now and sat up still," the report states, adding that he was breathing heavily.
TMZ reports that Rick is receiving treatment at a local hospital's cardiac unit, which may be a sign he suffered from a heart attack or similar, and that he is hooked up to a form of life support known as extracorporeal membrane oxygenation - which pumps much-needed oxygen back into the blood outside the body, before it's sent back in to the patient's system.
It essentially takes over the function of the heart and lungs when a patient is unable to do so themselves.

However, TMZ claims Rick's family has denied he is having that treatment, and previously denied he was even hospitalised.
Mirror Online has contacted Rick's reps for comment.
Rick has previously suffered from seizures, having experienced two on separate private jet flights in October 2011, which required hospital treatment.

He said after recovering that the seizures were caused by a lack of sleep, then went on a health kick losing over 100lbs.
His celebrity friends are clearly worried for the star this time around, with many of them urging fans to pray for Rick.

A source told the website that the machine had taken over his heart and lung functions.
The Davie Police Department confirmed to Us Weekly that emergency officials were called to Ross’ house in Davie, Florida, on Thursday, March 1, around 3:30 a.m. when the rapper was found unresponsive and breathing heavily. The person who called 911 attempted to wake Ross and saw that he was “slobbing out the mouth,” according to police.
This is not the Grammy nominee’s first health scare: Ross has a history of seizures. In 2011, he was hospitalized in Birmingham, Alabama, after having two seizures in a six-hour period. Ross later attributed them to lack of sleep.
