"Akan lebih baik kalau kita tak membahas gol kedua atau ketiga Swansea City. Saya tak ingin membicarakannya," ujar Wenger.
Pelatih asal Perancis itu mengatakan, muara kekalahan timnya adalah pertahanan yang buruk serta penampilan Swansea yang disiplin.
"Kami membuat kesalahan buruk di lini pertahanan. Sementara itu, Swansea tajam, disiplin, dan lapar gol. Kami tak cukup bagus dan disiplin," tuturnya.

I think we prepared very well, but even if you prepare and players don’t follow the plan and don’t believe, the result is nothing. The credit is to my player. But in a moment in particular we won this game, after the game they did it fantastically, when they are attacking, they have a strong organisation, like Tottenham, Liverpool, they react very fast. If you lose the all, they will score. We did that well. Jordan Ayew did absolutely amazing when he received the ball to take us out of the pressure. We knew we could create situations like this. Second half was more difficult they put more players on the sides, stopped us, but we waited for our moment and at the end we created more chances. I must give all the credit to our players.”
