Falcons vs. Eagles: Live Updates, Score, Highlights for 2018 NFL Playoffs

Atlanta Falcons vs Philadelphia Eagles

Philadelphia

Follow live coverage as the Atlanta Falcons travel to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles in the divisional round of the NFC playoffs. No. 6 Atlanta is favored over No. 1 Philadelphia, the first time a No. 1 seed has gone into a matchup it is hosting in this round of the playoffs as an underdog. But bettors realize that without Carson Wentz under center, this is a game Atlanta can win easily behind Matt Ryan, Julio Jones, Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman. Whichever team wins will move on to face either the Minnesota Vikings or the New Orleans Saints in the NFC Championship Game.

The Atlanta Falcons seem to hitting their stride at the right time. The Falcons are playing some of their best football and will pose a serious threat to the Philadelphia Eagles when the two teams meet in a NFC divisional playoff game on Saturday (1:35 p.m. PT/4:35 p.m. ET, KGW-8, NBC).

You can watch the live stream on the NFL's mobile app or www.nbcsports.com/live. If the NFL Network is part of your cable package, you can also live stream the game through the NFL app on XBox, Apple TV, or Roku device on your TV.

The Falcons (10-6) produced one of their best performances of the season during their 26-13 win over the Los Angeles Rams in a wild card game last week. The win was the Falcons sixth in their past eight games. Last season the Falcons won games with the league's best offense, they're doing it with their defense this season. They held the Rams, the league's top scoring offense, to their third-lowest point total of the season.

The Eagles (13-3) secured a first-round bye and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. But Eagles fans are feeling anything but secure going into the game. That's because back quarterback Nick Foles didn't inspire much confidence after completing just 4-of-11 passes for 39 yards with an interception during their 6-0 loss to the Dallas Cowboys before he was pulled from the game. The Eagles are probably going to rely heavily on their rushing attack to shorten the game.
