Lindsay Lohan Says She's 'Had Enough' With Dating on 'Wendy Williams Show'

She announced this week that she and her father have finally buried the hatchet after years of feuding.

And while the future's looking bright with her mum and dad, Lindsay Lohan injected a burst of colour into an otherwise grey day as she stepped out in NYC on Friday.

The former Speed The Plough actress went make-up free, sweeping her russet locks upon her head, allowing her bright red jacket to do the talking.

Looking pensive, Lindsay, 31, looked slick in the fur number, which was detailed in a square pattern and showed off her lithe frame with it's form-fitting design.

She wore a chunky red sweater underneath as well as smart black slacks and killer heeled boots as she left a meeting at a NYC office, before crossing the street.

She was seen taking a cigarette from her Prada purse and taking a drag as she waited to be collected.

The Mean Girls alum told Wendy Williams on Friday's show that she and her father, Michael, now get along.

'It's great,’ said the Herbie Full Loaded star, who now calls Dubai home. Both her parents were in the audience of the daytime talk show as well as Lindsay's 94-year-old grandmother.

The split between her mom Dina and dad Michael in 2007 was anything but civil as tabloids ran stories about unpaid child support and domestic abuse.

Wendy told Lohan that she is the most talked about person in the history of her show - having mentioned her more than 150 times.

‘I don’t know whether to say thank you or I’m sorry,’ the Mean Girls actress said as the audience laughed.

Williams was very surprised to see her parents in the same room.

‘I think that in life, parents have their things together and sometimes the children are immersed in it and you just have to really step back and let your parents do what they do and figure out everything for themselves,’ she said.

‘And we all have a great relationship now so it’s nice . . . it’s much simpler that way.’

Special day: The Parent Trap star's mother and grandmother was also in attendance. She was celebrating her 94th birthday

E News caught up with The Parent Trap star just days earlier. She told the outlet that she is living a calmer life abroad.

‘For me I prefer to come back to America when I’m working or to see family,’ she said. ‘I like having my private life and feeling safe and I feel very safe in Dubai.’

She also revealed that she’d happily reunite with her Mean Girls cast. ‘I would love to do Mean Girls 2. We had so much fun filming that movie,’ she said.

New home: The actress is currently living full-time in Dubai

After a rocky several years dealing with substance abuse and family turmoil, the child star seems to be back on track.

She told Wendy that she’s got a lot of little projects in the works—including opening a chain of nightclubs and designing an island in Dubai.

The actress is also vying for the role of Batgirl in Warner Brother’s alleged new film.

Get ready for "Lohan Island!"

On Friday, Lindsay Lohan stopped by the Wendy Williams Show to talk about her upcoming projects and what she's been working on lately. In addition to TV and movie projects, Lohan shared that she has a club in Athens called "Lohan Nightclub" and then she's opening one in Mykonos.

"I figured, I've gone to enough, I should have my own," Lindsay laughed. "It's really fun, it's a fun place."

And in addition to having her own nightclubs, Lindsay is about to have her own island! The 31-year-old actress revealed to Wendy Williams that she's designing her own island in Dubai.

Lindsay Lohan is back -- for a short time only.

The 31-year-old actress returned to the United States for an interview on The Wendy Williams Show on Friday, where she opened up about her past partying ways, her family finally getting along and what projects she has lined up for the future.

"I don't know whether to say thank you or I'm sorry," Lohan joked to Williams after discovering that she's the most talked-about celebrity on Williams' show, before revealing why she doesn't talk to the people from her "traumatic" clubbing days in Los Angeles and how she feels "very safe" living away from the public eye in Dubai.

"I didn't really know how to have a private life, because I was so young," she confessed of her time in L.A. "I really enjoy my serenity in Dubai...you can go out and have fun, but it's a different kind of fun that you have."

"I'm discussing designing an island in Dubai, with The World Islands. I have a lot of little projects there, because I like to keep myself busy," she added. "Lohan island."

The actress, who discussed her television and film projects abroad, explained that being in "work mode" has prevented her from dating -- but she doesn't have a problem with that.

"I've had enough of them," she told Williams of relationships, after her engagement to Egor Tarabasov ended last year. She did, however, insist that she likes men after Williams brought up her past romance with Samantha Ronson, and asked if she was sexually fluid. "I was living in L.A." she said with a smile.
