Sayang, tendangannya masih mengarah tepat ke Fabianski dan bisa diblok.
Gabriel Jesus, Sergio Aguero, dan De Bruyne gagal memaksimalkan peluang bagi tuan rumah. Manchester City juga tidak mendapat penalti setelah Aguero ditarik di area terlarang.
Gol yang dinanti akhirnya datang dari sosok tidak disangka. Rodri menanduk bola hasil sepak pojok De Bruyne untuk mengubah skor.
The Citizens terus menekan tuan rumah meski tampil kurang maksimal. Namun tidak ada gol tercipta di babak pertama.

The Hammers will finally be in action against Man City after seeing their first attempt to play the fixture postponed by Storm Ciara 10 days ago.
While their winter break has been curtailed by a few days, it does mean a possible debut for new attacker Jarrod Bowen, who joined on transfer deadline day from Hull.
Felipe Anderson could also be in line to start after returning to training during the winter break, but Andriy Yarmolenko will not be involved.

Rodri opened the scoring on the half hour with his first Etihad Stadium goal before Kevin de Bruyne wrapped up the three points after the hour as Pep Guardiola's side consolidated second in the Premier League by moving four points clear of third-place Leicester, who they face on Saturday.

It took just six minutes for City to carve through the West Ham defence. David Silva threaded a sumptuous ball through the eye of a needle to release Gabriel Jesus through on goal, but the Brazilian opted against shooting first time and was dispossessed by Ryan Fredericks as he tried to round Lukasz Fabianski.
Sergio Aguero flashed an improvised shot with the outside of his boot wide moments later as City bombarded the West Ham goal in search of the early breakthrough.
Kevin de Bruyne's deflected strike forced Fabianski into action with his feet before the Belgian presented Jesus with a second gilt-edged chance inside the quarter-hour but having stabbed the ball through to the onside Brazilian, his two attempts were blocked by Aaron Cresswell.
Team news Aymeric Laporte started only his second game since August as Pep Guardiola made five changes following City’s defeat at Tottenham. Benjamin Mendy, Bernardo Silva, David Silva also returned, while Gabriel Jesus partnered Sergio Aguero in attack in the Premier League for only the 12th time.
West Ham made one change to the side that relinquished a 3-1 lead against Brighton. Arthur Masuaku’s return to the Hammers defence moved Michail Antonio into a more advanced position where he replaced Sebastien Haller.

The offside flag came to the Hammers' rescue on 20 minutes, wrongfully catching Aguero offside and sparing last man Angelo Obgonna from a potential red card for preventing the Argentine from getting a shot away.
But West Ham's resistance was finally broken on the half-hour as De Bruyne's whipped corner was glanced home by Rodri, who opened his scoring at the Etihad, despite the returning Aymeric Laporte's efforts to poke the ball in on the goal line.
The City onslaught continued relentlessly after the interval as Aguero and Bernardo Silva whistled shots narrowly wide.
The Hammers' cause was hampered by the loss of Fredericks to a shoulder injury on the hour, and insult was added to injury within seconds of his departure as De Bruyne ghosted into the box and rifled City's second past Fabianski at his near post to secure a morale-boosting victory.

David Moyes lost six of his 22 games against Manchester City in the Premier League as Everton boss - since leaving, he has lost seven consecutive leagues games against them.
