Hitekno.com - Netizen ramai-ramai mengeluhkan WhatsApp down ke dalam hashtag #whatsappdown yang trending di Twitter. Pantauan tim HiTekno.com, hashtag #WhatsAppdown langsung memuncaki trending topik Twitter di Indonesia mulai pukul 19.00 WIB.

Dilihat dari situs Trends24.in, hahstag #whatsappdown langsung melesat masuk menjadi trending topik Twitter setelah dicuitkan lebih dari 18 ribu kali.

Banyak netizen yang mengeluhkan tidak bisa mengirimkan pesan atau mengirim video ketika aplikasi WhatsApp mereka eror.

Beragam meme juga dibagikan oleh netizen yang sebagian besar menyindir server dari WhatsApp dibandingkan dengan Twitter.

Pantauan dari situs Down Detector, aplikasi WhatsApp yang eror hanya terjadi di beberapa wilayah.

Secara global, beberapa negara dengan tingkat warna merah paling pekat (sebanding tingkat eror) termasuk India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Arab Saudi, Argentina, Prancis, Spanyol dan Jerman.

Sebagian besar wilayah Indonesia tidak terdampak, namun wilayah seperti Jakarta dan Bandung mendapatkan titik kuning hingga merah yang menandakan titik eror berpusat di wilayah tersebut.

Dari rincian yang didapatkan di situs Down Detector, WhatsApp mulai mengalami masalah pukul 17.00 WIB dan mencapai puncaknya pukul 19.00 WIB.

Dari laporan keluhan yang ada, 66 persen mengalami eror saat mengirim pesan, 32 persen mengeluhkan kualitas jaringan, dan 1 persen mengalami masalah saat log-in.

Banyak netizen yang memberikan beragam komentar di Twitter menanggapi dalam hashtag whatsappdown.

Dari pantauan Technologue.id melalui situs Down Detector, pada pukul 19.48 WIB sebanyak lebih dari 200 laporan masuk ke situs tersebut. 65% laporan yang masuk terkait masalah pengiriman dan penerimaan pesan di WhatsApp.

WhatsApp sendiri bukan yang pertama mengalami down, pada 2019 lalu WhatsApp juga sempat mengalami masalah bahkan disebut yang terburuk.

Saat itu, sudah masuk dua pelapor yang mengeluhkan hal serupa. Kemudian keluhan itu langsung naik signifikan sekitar pukul 18.00 WIB. Warganet berbondong-bondong mengeluh di Twitter. Mayoritas dari mereka bingung dan menanyakan perihal tersebut ke lini masa. Sepertinya gangguan ini tidak hanya terjadi di Indonesia, tapi juga menerpa beberapa negara lainnya. More than 500 million people use the app each day and many have taken out their frustrations across Twitter and Facebook.

A spokesperson for WhatsApp did not immediately respond to a request for comment.​

A report earlier this month revealed that WhatsApp is the worst-hit platform for internet shutdowns.

The app suffered 6,236 hours of deliberate disruption in 2019, largely as a result of authoritarian governments blocking access to it.

The app's secure encryption and vast user base make it popular among protesters who want to evade authorities during periods of civil unrest.

Areas of Asia and the Middle East, including Dubai, India and Malaysia are also suffering problems.

Da qualche minuto prima di mezzogiorno di domenica 19 gennaio ci sono problemi con Whatsapp. In particolare, secondo le segnalazioni arrivate da parte di diversi utenti, dalle 11.55 circa non si riescono a inviare contenuti multimediali, come ad esempio foto, tramite la nota applicazione di messaggistica istantanea, creata nel 2009 e facente parte del gruppo Facebook. Diverse le segnalazioni già apparse anche su Twitter sotto l’hashtag #whatsappdown.

Gli utenti segnalano tutti lo stesso problema: non è possibile in questi minuti inviare foto e contenuti audio/video tramite Whatsapp. Il primo #whatsappdown del 2020, ironizzano alcune persone sempre su Twitter, sottolineando come non siano rari problemi del genere sull'applicazione di messaggistica istantanea.
