McGregor akan melakoni duel di kelas welter non gelar sebanyak 3 ronde melawan petarung MMA veteran asal AS, Cerrone. Duel itu dikemas dalam pergelaran UFC 246, yang akan dihelat di MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas pada Sabtu malam 18 Januari 2020 atau Minggu pagi di Indonesia. But Barber was left in clear discomfort when she sustained a suspected torn ACL and a nasty gash to her face.

The flyweight clash was enthralling from start to finish ahead of the Conor McGregor vs Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone main event.

In the immediate aftermath of the decision, Barber refused to let her injuries detract from what was a sensational performance by her veteran opponent.

Barber was just five years old when Modafferi made her pro MMA debut and the pair acknowledged the competitive nature of the bout.
