Pelatih Thomas Tuchel secara khusus mewanti-wanti anak buahnya agar tidak tertipu dengan posisi sang tuan rumah yang berada di juru kunci klasemen Ligue 1. Pasukan Stephane Jobard memang masih kesulitan untuk keluar dari zona degradasi. Bertanding 11 kali, Dijon sudah menelan 6 kekalahan berbanding 2 kemenangan dan 3 kali hasil imbang. Mereka baru sanggup mengumpulkan 9 poin. Namun dalam pandangan Tuchel, Dijon tak seharusnya berada di wilayah merah. Secara posisi boleh saja mereka tidak diunggulkan. Akan tetapi, Dijon bisa sangat berbahaya ketika bermain di kandang sendiri. “Dijon memang berada di posisi terbawah di klasemen. Tapi sebenarnya secara statistik mereka cukup bagus. Untuk bisa mengalahkan mereka tentunya kami harus bekerja keras dan mengeluarkan kemampuan terbaik . Mendapatkan kemenangan di Ligue 1 bukan perkara mudah saat ini,” jelas Tuchel. Tuchel tidak salah. Faktanya, Dijon sanggup mencatatkan clean sheets dalam tiga laga kandang terakhirnya di Ligue 1. Nimes dan Marseille secara beruntun bermain imbang tanpa gol di sana. Ini disusul kemenangan 1-0 atas Strasbourg pada 5 Oktober lalu. Bahkan belum lama ini Dijon bisa menahan imbang Lyon 0-0 di Stadion Groupama. Hanya saja memang secara rekor pertemuan PSG lebih diunggulkan untuk menang. Whoscored mencatat, dalam 9 pertemuan terakhir Dijon kontra PSG di semua ajang, Les Parisiens selalu bisa mengakhiri laga dengan kemenangan. Malahan dalam duel 17 Januari 2018 lalu PSG menghabisi Dijon dengan skor telak 8-0. “PSG berada di posisi pertama dan kami di urutan terakhir. Mereka sedang berada dalam performa positif dan sebaliknya kami sedang negatif. Namun kami ingin merusak segala prediksi yang ada untuk laga ini. Paris Saint-Germain's 4-0 demolition of Marseille last time out extended their winning run to six games across all competitions. The reigning Ligue 1 champions have won 12 of their 14 competitive fixtures so far this season.
However, they have really begun to hit a purple patch of late. Their last game was the fourth in a row in which they have scored at least four goals, netting a total of 17 in this run and conceding just once.
Prior to this string of clinical finishing, the Parisian outfit had only hit four or more goals in one of their previous eight fixtures.
On-loan striker Icardi's fine form has been crucial to this, with the Argentine scoring in each of his last five games and netting a total of seven in that run.
However, PSG have been solid at the back this season too, conceding just four goals in their 14 games across all competitions so far this term and keeping a staggering 11 clean sheets in that time.
On two of the three occasions in which they failed to shut the opponent out, they lost the game, conceding twice in both instances.
It will not make for pleasant reading for Dijon, who have not scored in their last three games in a row and have netted five all season, scoring more than once in just one outing.
Dijon have won just two games this term and find themselves rooted to the foot of the Ligue 1 table, three points from safety with 11 games gone.

PSG boss Thomas Tuchel is without a handful of stars but has no fresh injury concerns and should be able to name an unchanged side from the team that beat Marseille if he chooses.
In defence, right-back Thomas Meunier is still out but had lost his place to Colin Dagba anyway, so the Belgian's absence is unlikely to cause too many problems.
He joins on the treatment table long-term absentee Thilo Kehrer, whose versatility across the back four is being missed as a cover option, but he would also have been unlikely to start.
The two major omissions for Tuchel will be Idrissa Gueye and Neymar, both of whom have proven themselves key players for PSG.
Dijon head coach Olivier Delcourt has a fully-fit squad to choose from when the Ligue 1 champions visit the Stade Gaston Gerard.

They have a few players with real quality to go alongside a passionate fanbase, and that’ll give them enough confidence to believe that they can overcome their poor start to the campaign. It’ll seem unlikely for them to get the upset against a team like Paris Saint-Germain, but it’s the kind of surprise they’ve pulled before.
In their last six it’s safe to say that Dijon have shown a bit of resistance, only falling to a loss in two of those aforementioned games – against Brest and Nice. They picked up valuable 0-0 draws against Lyon and Marseille, and in addition to that, they registered back to back victories over Strasbourg and Reims.

When the expectation is that you’re going to stroll towards victory in pretty much every game you play, especially domestically, it can become a little bit difficult to function under that sort of pressure. Alas, when it comes to Ligue 1 football, Paris Saint-Germain tend to pass every test with flying colours. They’re going to be the clear and obvious favourites for the title once again, which should free them up to make a run at the Champions League trophy.
Perfection tends to be what most PSG fans demand in the domestic game, and that’s exactly what they’ve received in the last month or so. They have picked up 5-0 and 1-0 wins over Club Brugge and Galatasaray respectively in the Champions League, whereas back in Ligue 1, they’ve cruised to wins over Marseille, Nice, Angers and Bordeaux.
Conclusion
Dijon are going to give it their all, and that could make for a pretty tense first half hour for PSG. Even with that being the case, though, the quality that the French champions possess is just going to be too much for them to handle. We don’t think they’ll go on to batter them by any stretch, but it’ll certainly be one sided by the time we get around to the full time whistle. The great thing about league football, though, is that you can never tell what’s coming around the next corner.
We think the attacking prowess of PSG will lead them towards quite a few chances, which is why we’re going to back the over 2.5 goal bracket. The optimist in us would like to believe that Dijon can get themselves on the scoresheet, and in truth, it all depends on how tight they set themselves up at the back. If they go for the counter attack often enough, they could be in luck.
