Dua produk dari lini Samsung Galaxy M, Galaxy M10 dan M20, resmi diluncurkan di India , Senin (28/1/2019).
Samsung Galaxy M merupakan peleburan dari tiga lini entry-level Samsung, yakni lini J, C, dan On.

Dari segi desain, Galaxy M10 dan M20 benar-benar membawa membawa penampilan yang segar dibanding lini Samsung sebelumnya.
Dua smartphone baru tersebut mengusung salah satu desain baru Samsung yakni Infinity-V.
Berupa poni layar berbentuk huruf V yang digunakan sebagai rumah kamera depan.
Infinity-V sejatinya sama dengan waterdrop screen yang tengah menjadi tren saat ini.

Galaxy M20 menjadi seri yang lebih tinggi dibanding Galaxy M10.

FAJAR.CO.ID – Rumor demi rumor ihwal perangkat smartphone pendatang baru dari Samsung, yakni Galaxy M10 dan Galaxy M20 akhirnya terjawab. Melalui sebuah hajatan di India, Senin (28/1) waktu setempat, Samsung Galaxy M10 dan Galaxy M20 yang digadang-gadang bakal menjadi ‘Xiaomi Killer’ akhirnya lahir.
Sebagaimana JawaPos.com kutip dari laman NDTV, Senin (28/1), perangkat tersebut seperti rumor-rumor sebelumnya melenggang dengan harga yang ekonomis. Pasar India resmi menjadi yang pertama untuk smartphone seri Samsung M, Galaxy M10 dan Galaxy M20.
Samsung Galaxy M10 dan Galaxy M20 dikatakan oleh pihak Samsung menyasar segmen pasar milenial. Keduanya hadir dengan panel layar bertakik dengan gaya Infinity-V serta pengaturan kamera belakang ganda.
Urusan spesifikasi, Samsung Galaxy M10 hadir dengan dual-SIM (nano) yang menjalankan Android 8.1 Oreo di atas Samsung Experience 9.5 UX dan memiliki fitur layar Infinity-V HD+ 6,2 inci (720 x 1.520 piksel) serta rasio aspek 19:9. Smartphone ini ditenagai prosesor Exynos 7870 SoC serta dipasangkan dengan opsi RAM 2 GB dan 3 GB.
Dari aspek penyimpanan, Samsung Galaxy M10 memiliki 16 GB dan 32 GB opsi penyimpanan internal. Keduanya dapat diperluas melalui kartu MicroSD hingga 512 GB. Smartphone ini juga dilengkapi dengan konektivitas USB Type-C. Selain itu, Samsung Galaxy M10 mengemas baterai 3.400 mAh yang mendukung pengisian tiga kali lebih cepat dibandingkan koneksi USB tradisional menggunakan pengisi daya 15W yang dibundel dalam paket penjualan.
Samsung telah menyediakan pengaturan kamera belakang ganda pada Galaxy M10 yang mencakup sensor primer 13 MP bersama dengan aperture f/1.9 dan sensor sekunder 5 MP ultra-wide. Untuk selfie, ada sensor 5 MP di bagian depan. Smartphone ini memiliki mode ultra-wide untuk mendukung lanskap, foto kota, dan foto grup.
Sementara untuk Samsung Galaxy M20, fitur dual-SIM (nano) juga hadir pada perangkat tersebut. Samsung Galaxy M20 menjalankan Android 8.1 Oreo berdasarkan Samsung Experience 9.5 UX. Untuk area layar, Samsung Galaxy M20 hadir dengan bentang lebih luas yakni 6,3 inci berkemampuan Full HD+ (1.080 x 2.340 piksel) dengan aspek rasio 19,5:9. Samsung Galaxy M20 ditenagai prosesor Exynos 7904 SoC yang dipasangkan dengan opsi RAM 3 GB dan 4 GB serta GPU Mali-G71 MP2.
Samsung Galaxy M20 memiliki opsi penyimpanan internal 32 GB dan 64 GB. Keduanya juga dapat diperluas juga melalui kartu MicroSD hingga 512 GB. Ada sensor sidik jari di bagian belakang, juga dilengkapi dengan fitur buka kunci wajah. Selain itu, smartphone ini mengemas baterai 5.000 mAh yang mendukung pengisian cepat melalui USB Type-C.
Dari segi kamera, ada pengaturan kamera belakang ganda bersama dengan sensor utama 13 MP dengan aperture f/1.9 dan sensor ultra lebar 5 MP. Sensor 8 megapiksel bersama dengan aperture f/2.0 tersedia di bagian depan sebagai penembak selfie.
Sampai kepada faktor harga, Samsung Galaxy M10 di India dibanderol mulai dari INR 7.990 atau setara dengan Rp 1,58 jutaan untuk varian RAM/ROM 2/16 GB, sedangkan model penyimpanan 3/32 GB dihargai dengan INR 8,990 atau setara dengan Rp 1,77 jutaan.
Sementara untuk Samsung Galaxy M20, varian tersebut dibanderol mulai harga INR 10.990 atau setara dengan Rp 2,1 jutaan untuk konfigurasi penyimpanan RAM/ROM 3/32 GB, sedangkan versi penyimpanan 4/64 GB akan dijual dengan harga INR 12.990 atau setara dengan Rp 2,57 jutaan.
Galaxy M10 dan Galaxy M20 juga hadir sebagai model eksklusif online dengan penjualan mereka dijadwalkan 5 Februari melalui Amazon.in dan Samsung India e-Store. (JPC)
Samsung on Monday announced a brand new affordable series in India as the company attempts to win back the market from the hands of Xiaomi, Nokia and others. The Galaxy M series has been launched with an aim to attract millenials by offering the Galaxy M10 and M20 with attractive new Infinity-V displays, long-lasting battery and ultra wide-angle camera.
The Galaxy M10 and M20 (Review) are similar in design, but they offer a few differences in specs as the former falls in the sub-Rs 10,000 segment, while the latter falls in the sub-Rs 15,000 price bracket. We take a look at what sets the two phones apart to help you understand which of the two new Galaxy M phones makes the most sense for you.
-- Talking about the price first, the Galaxy M10 is the more affordable of the two phones with a price tag starting at Rs 7,990 and going up to Rs 8,990. The M10 comes in two variants - 2GB + 16GB and 3GB + 32GB. The Galaxy M20, on the other hand, starts at Rs 10,990 and goes up to Rs 12,990. It also comes in two variants - 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB. Both the phones support storage expandability up to 512GB via a microsSD card.
-- The Galaxy M10 and M20 are the first Samsung phones to rock the new Infinity-V displays. This means both the phones offer waterdrop notches on the display, allowing for fewer bezels all around and a large screen-to-body ratio. From the front, both the phones look identical, but there is a difference in resolution. The Galaxy M10 offers a 720p HD+ display, while the M20 offers a 1080p FHD+ display. Both the phones support Widevine L1, so you will be able to stream videos on popular platforms in true HD, although the M20 will offer better clarity and sharpness.
-- The two new Galaxy M phones also share the same dual camera setups. They both get a 13MP primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture and a 5MP secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture. The front camera, however, is different as the M10 gets a 5MP selfie shooter while the M20 gets an 8MP sensor.
-- The Galaxy M20 is also the only phone (and the first-ever Samsung phone) to house a large 5,000mAh battery. Samsung guarantees a two-day battery life on this phones, and our review reaffirms this promise. The Galaxy M10 comes with a smaller 3,400mAh battery, which should be decent enough for an entry-level smartphone. The M20 is also the only one among the two to support up to 15W fast charging.
-- The Galaxy M20 gets a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor in addition to face unlock. The Galaxy M10 offers no physical fingerprint sensor, just the face unlock feature for biometric, which may not work well in low-light.
-- The Galaxy M10 and M20 come with different processors as well. The M10 is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 chipset which is based on a 14nm process and offers eight ARM Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.6GHz. The M20 gets the newly announced Exynos 7904 chipset which is also based on a 14nm process. The chipset is equipped with two Cortex-A73 cores that run at 1.8GHz, and six Cortex-A53 cores that run at 1.6GHz.
-- When it comes to the processor and memory, it's pretty evident that the Galaxy M20 is the one to go for if you are looking to play a lot of games or multitask on a smartphone. The 4GB variant of the M20 will handle this better than the Galaxy M10. The M10 is for light phone users who aren't looking to stress the device, but want a good-looking phone with a waterdrop display.
-- Both the Galaxy M10 and M20 ship with Android 8.1 Oreo with a new Experience UI 9.5, which offers a cleaner, smoother UI. Samsung inadvertently revealed that the two phones will receive Android Pie later this year in August.

Melansir dari Techcenturion , Exynos 7904 mampu mencetak skor hingga 108.712 poin di benchmark sintetis AnTuTu. Angka ini tak jauh berbeda dengan Snapdragon 632 dan Snapdragon 636. Kinerja Exynos 7904 cukup bersaing di kelas kelasnya lantaran mengusung konsep octa-core yang terdiri dari dua cluster atau bagian. Bagian pertama terdiri dari quad-core ARM Cortex-A73 1,8GHz yang menawarkan performa tinggi, sedangkan bagian kedua mengusung quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 dengan kecepatan 1,6GHz. Kemampuan grafis Samsung Exynos 7904 untuk memainkan game cukup memadai dengan dukungan GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) dari Mali-G71 MP2. Performa yang cukup memadai ini membuat smartphone bertenaga Exynos 7904 percaya diri bersaing di kelas menengah. Samsung Galaxy M20 menjadi smartphone pertama yang ditenagai oleh chipset Exynos 7904. Ponsel ini tak hanya menawarkan performa yang kompetitif, tetapi juga dibekali dengan baterai berkapasitas besar untuk menunjang aktivitas pengguna, yakni 5000mAh. Ponsel Galaxy M20 dibekali dengan spesifikasi kamera yang sama, yakni kamera ganda 13MP + 5MP. Hal yang menarik adalah kamera kedua yang berkekuatan 5 megapiksel ini tak hanya berfungsi sebagai depth sensor, tetapi juga menghasilkan foto wide angle yang menawan. Samsung Galaxy M20 yang notabene smartphone pertama yang ditenagai oleh chipset Exynos 7904 ini dijual dengan harga yang cukup bersaing. Di India, Galaxy M20 dijual dengan harga mulai 11.000 Rupee atau Rp2,1 juta.
