KYIV, KOMPAS.com - Pelatih Arsenal , Unai Emery , terkesan dengan penampilan penyerang mudanya, Smith Rowe, dalam laga kelima babak penyisihan Grup E Liga Europa melawan Vorskla Poltava di Stadion NSC Olimpiyskiy, Kyiv, Jumat (30/11/2018) dini hari WIB.
Unai Emery berharap pemain muda Arsenal bisa meneladani Smith Rowe.
"Dia tenang, dia bertanggung jawab dan saya juga berpikir penampilannya pada laga ini sangat bagus. Dia adalah contoh yang baik untuk pemain muda lain," kata Unai Emery dilansir dari ESPN .

Lebih lanjut, Emery merasa harus memberikan waktu bermain untuk pemain muda agar bisa berkembang dan menjadi pemain yang potensial di masa depan.
"Kami memikirkan tentang kemenangan hari ini dan juga menciptakan dengan pemain yang tepat serta memberi kesempatan untuk banyak pemain," katanya.
"Kami bermain dengan pemain muda dan mereka bekerja dengan kami pada saat latihan setiap hari," ujarnya menambahkan.
Di laga ini, Smith Rowe berhasil mencetak gol pembuka untuk Arsenal pada menit ke-10.
Selain Smith Rowe, Aaron Ramsey (27') dan Joe Willock (41') juga menambahkan keunggulan The Gunners atas Vorskla.

Arsenal secured top spot in their Europa League group as a much-changed side coasted to a 3-0 Europa League victory against Vorskla Poltava in sub-zero Kiev.
The Group E fixture was moved 185 miles east of Poltava to the capital's Olympic Stadium, with parts of Ukraine under martial law as political tensions with Russia continue to rise.

Vorskla play the ball back into the box trying to find Kulach who goes down in the area but the linesman rules him offside. 18 mins: Vorskla 0 - 1 Arsenal Vorskla have seen more of the ball but Arsenal are quick when they break down the wings. They win a free kick on the right edge of the home sides's area. Ramsey takes the free kick and goes for goal but ends up putting the ball over the bar. 21 mins: Vorskla 0 - 1 Arsenal Vorskla are finding it tough to break Arsenal down. The Gunners have a good shape at the back and look confident on the ball. 24 mins: Vorskla 0 - 1 Arsenal After a few early chances Vorskla, Arsenal have taken control of the game now. They're patiently building up to an attack, Smith-Rowe cuts it back to Ramsey in Vorskla's box and he goes down. Penalty to Arsenal.
