'The Bachelorette' finale preview: Becca prepares for 'the hardest goodbye'

The network had no need to deal with Mr. Adim’s past because he was eliminated in week 6. He did not appear in last week’s “Men Tell All” episode, in which men who have been eliminated gather to rehash the juicy events of the season.

But Ms. Kufrin had remained smitten with Mr. Yrigoyen since the first impression rose. At one point, she said he reminded her of her deceased father. He admitted to her that he had been previously married for two months. In Episode 7, the two explored the Bahamas by seaplane and Mr. Yrigoyen told Ms. Kufrin he was starting to fall in love with her.

Had the show known of his Instagram activity, there is a good chance he would not have been chosen to compete in the first place. In last year’s season, which featured the first African-American bachelorette, Rachel Lindsay, the show came under fire for a contestant who was found to have written racially charged and sexist Twitter posts. After that, an ABC executive said the vetting process should be improved.

Warner Bros. declined to comment on Mr. Yrigoyen’s behavior or about any possible changes to its vetting process.

What does Ms. Kufrin think of all of this?

She most likely does not share the social or political views of the Instagram posts liked by her new fiancé. She attended the women’s march and supported Hillary Clinton in the last election. But Ms. Kufrin had been limited in what she could say publicly before the finale of the show aired, to prevent any spoilers.

Becca Kufrin’s journey to finding love is nearly complete — and thus, so is her run of fabulous looks from her time on The Bachelorette. Kufrin kicked off the season in a beaded white Randi Rahm gown, and is bringing the season full circle by wearing another stunner by the designer for the finale.

“I think what she picked was very perfect,” Rahm told PEOPLE of Kufrin’s final gown. The hand-embroidered iridescent sequin halter number retails for $18,000 and took over 250 man-hours to bead, and another week to sew together.

But these two dresses — although arguably the most memorable — make up just a fraction of the total Rahm looks that Kufrin wore throughout the season. The star wore a total of 15 Randi Rahm couture pieces, from gowns to jumpsuits to coats, which you can see below on display at the designer’s N.Y.C. atelier.

“They get like 3,000 to 4,000 pieces, from people all over, and [Bachelor costume designer] Cary [Fetman] goes through it,” Rahm explained of the process to choose the Bachelorette’s wardrobe. “Then they bring in whoever the new Bachelorette is and then that young lady gets to go through the garments herself and she actually — it’s very organic — picks her favorites pieces.”

With 15 pieces, Rahm had what might have been her largest presence ever on a single season (quite a feat considering the designer says she’s worked with Fetman for “a good strong 15” years). But in addition to the quantity of pieces, the brand shared some other numbers that are equally impressive.

Kufrin’s white beaded halter gown from the premiere was the most expensive piece she wore, at $22,000. The “Pearl” dress took over 600 hours to hand-bead, and over 2,000 pearls and Swarovski crystals were used. It’s also the heaviest piece, at 8 pounds. (However, it felt even heavier: “Oh my God, it had to be at least 30 pounds! And then, it was a little bit rainy that night, so the bottom of it kept soaking up water and making it even heavier,” Kufrin told InStyle.)

Another popular look, the black strapless “Barbie” dress was clocked in at $11,000, thanks to the 200 hand-sewn ruched details. The gown also needed its own suitcase due to its large, structured fishtail skirt, Fetman told Page Six.

The most-liked piece on Instagram from the season was the sexy red lace “Christina” jumpsuit, which received over 1,600 likes on Fetman’s feed. Fetman also called the jumpsuit “one of my favorites.”

Don’t miss the season finale of The Bachelorette tonight, Monday August 6 at 8 P.M ET on ABC!

With the finale of "The Bachelorette" just hours away, fans are eager to find out whether Becca Kufrin will accept a proposal from Garrett Yrigoyen or Blake Horstmann.

Either way, one thing is for sure: the drama will make for an emotional few hours of TV.

In a sneak peek of the episode, a tearful Becca admits that while she's excited for her happy ending, she knows she must have a tough conversation with the other man first.

"I am nervous, I'm shaking because there's just one more goodbye before I can commit," she said. "The hardest goodbye."

ABC

In the penultimate episode, Becca bid farewell to second-runner-up Jason Tartick, explaining that her feelings for Garrett and Blake were stronger. Her dates with the two finalists, however, were better, with both ending in overnights in the fantasy suite.

By the end of tonight's episode, which airs at 8 p.m. ET on ABC, Becca will have made up her mind about who she wants to marry.

"I am just so ready to tell this man really really, really, truly how I feel," she said.

We’re here at last, rose lovers. Whether you read all the spoilers (I do) or studiously remain spoiler-free (bless your commitment), the end of The Bachelorette’s “journey” is always a time for celebration. Another season in the books! Another “love” story launched into the stratosphere for anywhere from three months to forever (props to the OG queen, Trista)! Another reminder that Bachelor in Paradise starts tomorrow! For this tiny moment, life is good.

We open in the Maldives, where bats lounge in the trees and sunset yoga is optional. Becca is ready to say “I love you” to either Blake or Garrett — she’s just not sure (or so she says) which one will get the honor. Hey look, it’s Becca’s adorable mom!

ABC

“I have two of the best guys in the entire world,” gushes Becca (do you still wince every time she says something like this? I do). “I love them, but I haven’t told them.” Now, it’s up to the family to help the Bachelorette decide which one is the “right” guy for her. Garrett’s up first, and he knows that all of Becca’s relatives — to use the parlance of this franchise — will have their walls up after going through this whole thing with Arie.

ABC

“We saw what happened last season with Arie,” says Uncle Chuck. “So frankly I think we’re trying to challenge [the guys] maybe a little bit more.” To that end, Chuck asks Garrett to explain how his marriage crumbled so quickly, and I’ll bet you can guess Garrett’s answer: I tried really hard, but my ex was the worst and hated my family, essentially. Then something interesting happens: Chuck asks Garrett how he handles difficult times, and the big lug actually gets emotional as he recounts his mother’s battles with cancer and losing his grandpa to the disease.

ABC

“So, have you cried with Becca?” Damn, Uncle Chuck is killing it with these questions! Garrett says Becca has “seen that side” of him, though I think we might need a judges’ ruling to verify that. The waterworks continue when Garrett sits down with Becca’s sister Emily. “I can just take care of her and give her everything she’s ever been lookin’ for,” he says, choking up. “It’s something that I’ve been missing in my life that I’ve finally found.” Of course, Becca’s family members are loving all of the tears – they want her to end up with a man who is in touch with his emotions.

ABC

Hold that thought, sis!

ABC

“He looks like a movie star,” whispers Emily. The producers definitely prepped the family, because they start asking Blake about how hard it was to go from the first one-on-one to a string of group dates. (Honestly, how weird is that last sentence? This show is insane.) When he sits down with Emily, Blake goes on about how he “gravitates” toward strong, independent women — which of course she’s happy to hear. As for which one she’d pick for Becca, Emily decides to remain semi-neutral: Garrett would be a “wonderful father,” while Blake would “challenge” Becca and be more of a “teammate.”

Oh come on! What’s Becca supposed to do with that? (Next: The last chance dates)
