The actress pulled out all the stops for a Spice Girls concert in 1997, and now the Internet has photographic evidence, thanks to an epic throwback picture.

Twitter user @BriaMadrid posted a snapshot she took with a Baby Spice lookalike at her first concert, when Madrid was just 5. Turns out, the die-hard Spice Girls fan posing with her is Blake Lively.
Lively's costume was complete with platform heels, a baby blue dress and pigtails.

"My secret is out," Lively tweeted in response to the nostalgic discovery.
Clearly not over the blast from the past (we don't blame her), Lively shared the picture on Instagram. It has more than a million likes.
"Pretending to be someone else ... since 1997 (Thanks @briaaamadrid for the photo of us at the Spice Girls concert. Sorry -not sorry- I tricked you into thinking I was @emmaleebunton)"
Lively tagged Emma Bunton in her post and then the unexpected happened. Baby Spice herself replied, even giving Lively's costume a thumbs-up.

Lively's inner 11-year-old self was probably screaming.
The actress, who now says she's "officially dead," replied to Bunton: "Forever bowing down to you. I cannot believe you know who I am. This will never be normal."

Actress Blake Lively had an Instagram exchange with "Baby Spice," Emma Bunton, over the weekend after someone tweeted an old photograph of Lively dressed as the Spice Girls member.
Bria Madrid shared the photo on Saturday, explaining the context in a tweet.
“Found a picture when I was 5 at my first concert #SpiceGirls and took a picture with a girl dressed up as Baby Spice who I just realized now was @blakelively,” she wrote.
Lively, now 30, shared the image with her more than 1 million Twitter followers later that day.
“My secret is out…” she said.
Madrid later asked the A-lister for a new version of the photo op.
“Just two die hard Spice Girl fans! We should totally go to the Spice Girl reunion concert and re-create this picture,” she wrote, tagging the actress.

On Instagram, Lively thanked Madrid for unearthing the photo.
“Sorry -not sorry- I tricked you into thinking I was @emmaleebunton),” she wrote in part when captioning the snap, sharing it with her 22.2 million followers.
Bunton was among those who commented on the post, Teen Vogue points out.

21 years ago, a pint-sized pop music fan attended a Spice Girl concert in San Bernardino, California. The fan, a five-year-old girl named Bria Madrid, came across an older girl with blonde pigtails and platform shoes dressed like Baby Spice, and the two took an adorable pic together. Now an adult, Madrid rediscovered the photo and realized that the older girl was none other than mega-famous actress Blake Lively.
Madrid posted the cute pic on Twitter with the caption:
