The actress pulled out all the stops for a Spice Girls concert in 1997, and now the Internet has photographic evidence, thanks to an epic throwback picture.

Twitter user @BriaMadrid posted a snapshot she took with a Baby Spice lookalike at her first concert, when Madrid was just 5. Turns out, the die-hard Spice Girls fan posing with her is Blake Lively.
Lively's costume was complete with platform heels, a baby blue dress and pigtails.

"My secret is out," Lively tweeted in response to the nostalgic discovery.
Clearly not over the blast from the past (we don't blame her), Lively shared the picture on Instagram. It has more than a million likes.
"Pretending to be someone else ... since 1997 (Thanks @briaaamadrid for the photo of us at the Spice Girls concert. Sorry -not sorry- I tricked you into thinking I was @emmaleebunton)"
Lively tagged Emma Bunton in her post and then the unexpected happened. Baby Spice herself replied, even giving Lively's costume a thumbs-up.

Lively's inner 11-year-old self was probably screaming.
The actress, who now says she's "officially dead," replied to Bunton: "Forever bowing down to you. I cannot believe you know who I am. This will never be normal."

Spice Girls fans have reacted with glee after a photo of a young Blake Lively dressed as Baby Spice during one of their concerts emerged online.
A picture of the actress was posted to Twitter by Bria Madrid who said: "Found a picture when I was 5 at my first concert. Spice Girls and took a picture with a girl dressed up as Baby Spice who I just realised now was Blake Lively."
According to Ms Madrid, the image was taken at the Spice Girls' show at Glen Helen Amphitheatre in 1997.
It soon went viral and caught the attention of the 30-year-old who responded "My secret is out."
She later posted the snap on Instagram which garnered a response from Baby Spice herself who wrote: "So cute, you're rocking those pigtails."
Fans of the Spice Girls were overjoyed to hear the actress was also a fan of the band.
Many people started to reminisce about the band.
Rusheen wrote: "My fav was Baby Spice too and I used to have a pink pair of those shoes. I gave up trying to walk in mine though, lol."
While another user wrote: "Good to know Blake is just like us."
Last week Mel B revealed that one member of the Spice Girls is holding up the eagerly anticipated reunion.
The singer, 43, confirmed she will "definitely" reunite with Victoria Beckham, Mel C, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner to mark the group's 20th anniversary but added that one member is proving difficult.
Speaking on Loose Women she said: “Yeah we are – we are getting back together. We are for sure. We are getting back together. In fact I’m seeing Geri a little bit later on today.”

A WOMAN in the US has made a startling discovery while going through old photographs.
Bria Madrid was taking a trip down memory lane when she unearthed a photo of her five-year-old self with a Baby Spice lookalike at her first concert — a Spice Girls concert at California’s Glen Helen Ampitheater in 1997.
But the memory has become even sweeter when she realised who the girl dressed up as Emma Bunton was — a young Blake Lively.
Thankfully, Ms Madrid tweeted the photo so we can all enjoy the Gossip Girl actress’ fangirl dedication, featuring towering platform shoes, a fur-lined blue dress and Baby Spice’s iconic blonde pigtails.

The post, which has now been shared thousands of times, even caught the attention of Lively herself, who cheekily tweeted “My secret is out …”
The Green Lantern star, 30, also shared the picture on her Instagram, where she quipped: “Pretending to be someone else … since 1997 (Thanks @briaaamadrid for the photo of us at the Spice Girls concert. Sorry-not-sorry I tricked you into thinking I was @emmaleebunton.”
And if you thought the whole situation couldn’t get any cooler, Baby Spice also chimed in, responding to Lively’s Instagram post.
“So cute, you’re rocking those pigtails @blakelively,” she wrote.

21 years ago, a pint-sized pop music fan attended a Spice Girl concert in San Bernardino, California. The fan, a five-year-old girl named Bria Madrid, came across an older girl with blonde pigtails and platform shoes dressed like Baby Spice, and the two took an adorable pic together. Now an adult, Madrid rediscovered the photo and realized that the older girl was none other than mega-famous actress Blake Lively.
Madrid posted the cute pic on Twitter with the caption:

And now, just to bring things full circle, Baby Spice has responded. She commented on Lively’s Instagram post, writing, “So cute, you’re rocking those pigtails @blakelively 👧👧”
Lively then wrote back, “@emmaleebunton I’m officially ☠☠☠☠. Forever bowing down to you. 💕💕💕I cannot believe you know who I am. This will never be normal. ☠😍☠”
