Odell was reportedly found unresponsive in a sober living home in San Fernando Valley on Friday.
According to police, there was no signs of foul play.

Odell, who launched his acting career at the age of 12, also starred in Judy Moody, Not Bummer Summer and in several hit TV shows including iCarly, Arrested Development and Modern Family.
The Colorado native was also a successful singer and songwriter.
He wrote several songs for the soundtrack of Forever My Girl, which launched earlier this year.
On Tuesday, Odell appeared on Controlled Chaos with with Josh Wolf, whose wife, Bethany Wolf directed Forever My Girl.
During the podcast, Odell said he's good friends with the Wolf family, and that he was 'lucky enough to help write the soundtrack' for the movie.
Odell, who launched his acting career at the age of 12, also starred in Judy Moody, Not Bummer Summer and in several hit TV shows including iCarly, Arrested Development and Modern Family

Odell also revealed that he just wrote a song for Shawn Mendes before performing a song titled Something Good during the podcast.
The singer was also interviewed about Forever My Girl on the red carpet during the movie launch in January.
Odell told reporters at the time that he thought the soundtrack was some of his 'best work,' and called the opportunity to work on the film an 'amazing experience'.
'Writing from a place of truth is a really big deal for me – whether it’s about relationships, or whether it’s about redemption or catharsis or whatever it is – it’s not really about the subject, as it is about the progress and the experience, and the process that someone goes through without love.
'I draw inspiration from truth wherever that may lie.'

THE Goldbergs actor Jackson Odell has passed away at the age of 20. His family have said the late star "will always be a shining light and a brilliant, loving and talented soul."
Jackson was found "unresponsive in a sober living home" according to TMZ.

Jacskson was found dead on Friday at his home in the San Fernando Valley.
The US online publication reported: "We're told he was found unresponsive in a sober living home, and there were no signs of foul play."
In a statement obtained by TMZ, Jackson's family said: "The Odell family has lost our beloved son and brother, Jackson Odell.
"He will always be a shining light and a brilliant, loving and talented soul. He had so much more to share. Our family will always carry that truth forward. Our wish is that the rest of the world does as well."

The statement concluded: "We are now going to try to make sense of our immeasurable loss privately."
His acting credits included a recurring role on US sitcom The Goldbergs as popular student Ari Caldwell.
He'd also appeared in several episodes of Nickelodeon comedy iCarly, starring opposite Jack Black and Miranda Cosgrove.
The 20-year-old had also featured in two episodes of hit US show Modern Family as Ted Durkas.
His cameo role saw him appear in 2010 and then for another episode in 2012.
Jackson also landed a big screen outing in 2011 children's movie Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer.

Speaking to Radio Nation about his acting career back in 2012, Jackson described his time on Modern Family as a "whirlwind."
He added: "I worked on Modern Family which was really fun and it was right when it started to become a big show, and I met the whole cast.
"Acting to me is on a business side a lot more easy to handle because it's all planned out. Music can veer off into any world and it's crazy. But acting is fun and I've got to work with some really great people and I'm grateful to be able to work with them."

Jackson recently provided the soundtrack for romantic movie Forever My Girl.
One of his final interviews took place on the red carpet for the movie launch in January.
Speaking to reporters on the carpet, Jackson opened up on the "amazing experience" of working on the movie.

It is currently unknown how the Goldbergs and Judy Moody star died, but according to a source he was found unresponsive in a “sober liver home, and there was no sign of foul play".
According to the Daily Mail, authorities said an investigation is ongoing and details surrounding his death have not been released.
A statement from Jackson's representative confirmed the news of his death.
He told Express.co.uk: "The Odell family has lost our beloved son and brother, Jackson Odell.
"He will always be a shining light and a brilliant, loving and talented soul.

Jackson Odell, who was best known for his role as Ari Caldwell in ABC’s “The Goldbergs,” has died. He was 20.
Odell was found unresponsive in his Tarzana residence in San Fernando Valley June 8, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office confirmed to Variety. The cause of death has not been released, pending an autopsy. No foul play is suspected.
In addition to his role as Ari in Seasons 1 and 2 of “The Goldbergs,” Odell had credits on “The Fosters,” “Modern Family,” and “iCarly.” He also starred in the 2011 film “Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer” with Heather Graham. He had been involved in show business from the age of 12.
Odell was also a singer-songwriter, and penned original songs for the soundtrack of the 2018 romantic drama film “Forever My Girl,” including “Wings of an Angel,” which “American Idol” contestant Lauren Alaina sang for the film. “Forever My Girl” starred Alex Roe and Jessica Rothe, with Roe as a country singer who sets out to win back the woman he left at the altar years before.
Odell sang several covers and original songs, which he posted to his YouTube channel, including one of “Dreaming with a Broken Heart” by John Mayer, which has over 16,000 views.
