Amirudin bin Shari (lahir 8 Februari 1980 di Johor, Malaysia) ialah ahli politik Malaysia dan kini Menteri Besar Selangor ke-16. Beliau ialah bekas pengurus pasukan bola sepak Selangor FA yang mengetuai pasukan itu dalam dua Piala Malaysia berturut-turut, 2015 dan 2016. Misi ke-33 yang terkenal untuk dimenangi pada 2015 dengan memenangi gelaran Selangor juga menjadi juara 2016 SUKMA di bawah Amirudin.
Beliau dibesarkan di Pontian, Johor. Beliau menerima pendidikan menengah di Sekolah Menengah Benut di Pontian dan memiliki pendidikan universiti di Universiti Putra Malaysia , lulus dengan ijazah Sarjana Muda dalam Sains Sosial. Beliau aktif terlibat dalam aktivisme pelajar semasa hari kampusnya dan dikenali sebagai pendebat yang mahir.
Selepas meninggalkan universiti, Amirudin bekerja sebagai penyelaras program di Institut Kajian Dasar, sebuah pertubuhan bukan kerajaan yang berdedikasi kepada penyebab kebangkitan kebudayaan dan pembinaan masyarakat madani.
Sepanjang kariernya di Institut Kajian Dasar, Amirudin menjalankan penggubalan dan penyeliaan program kesedaran sosial termasuk politik dengan siri di bawah pengurusannya seperti Forum Intelek Awam, Program Islam Tanwiri dan juga Sekolah Politik, sebuah program yang mencerahkan politik untuk anak-anak muda.
Di samping itu, Amirudin memperoleh latihan khas mengenai persiapan pilihan raya 'Bagaimana Melakukan Kempen' di bawah Konrad Adenauer Stiftung yang diadakan di Berlin dan Munich , Jerman . Pengalaman ini amat penting kerana Amirudin selalu diberikan tugas-tugas mengenai logistik, komunikasi, dan penggerak atas penglibatan awalnya dalam Parti Keadilan Rakyat .
Pada bulan Mac 2005, Amirudin berkahwin dengan Masdiana Muhamad. Pasangan ini mempunyai enam orang anak.

The 38-year-old Sungai Tua assemblyman was sworn in as Selangor's 16th Mentri Besar on Tuesday (June 19).
Amirudin took his oath of office and was sworn in before Selangor Ruler Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah at Istana Alam Shah.
Batu Tiga assemblyman Rodziah Ismail was also sworn in as exco member at the same event to fill the slot vacated by Amirudin.
He has taken over the post to replace Datuk Seri Azmin Ali who had moved to the Federal Government to assume the post of Economic Affairs Minister.
The identity of the new mentri besar was kept under wraps until the 11th hour.
According to sources, three names - Amirudin, Ijok assemblyman Dr Idris Ahmad and Seri Setia assemblyman Prof Dr Shaharuddin Badaruddin - had been submitted to Sultan Sharafuddin for perusal and selection.
Amirudin was Selangor exco member for Youth Development, Sports, Cultural and Entrepreneurship Development prior to his appointment.
He is also a former manager of the Selangor Football Association and had led the state football team in the Malaysia Cup finals in 2015 and 2016.
A Social Science gradute from Universiti Putra Malaysia, Amirudin was a programme coordinator at Institute of Policy Research.
He is married to Masdiana Muhamad and they have six children.

This is indicative that he is probably the mentri besar candidate replacing Datuk Seri Azmin Ali.
However, no official announcement has been made yet as to who will be sworn in later Tuesday morning.
Besides Amirudin, another candidate named for the position is Ijok assemblyman Dr Ahmad Idris.
However, he is not seen amongst the crowd at the palace.
The swearing in ceremony will take off as soon as Azmin officially relinquishes his position at about 9.30am by handing over his resignation document to Selangor Ruler Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.

Sungai Tua assemblyperson Amirudin Shari was today sworn in as the new Selangor menteri besar, putting weeks of speculation to rest.
The swearing-in ceremony was conducted at Istana Alam Shah, Klang, before Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah at 10.15am.
Amiruddin, who is also the state executive councillor for youth, sports, culture and entrepreneur development, arrived at the palace’s throne room at 8.20am, together with his wife Masdiana Muhamad.
Also sworn in was Batu Tiga assemblyperson Rodziah Ismail, who will be replacing Amirudin in his former post as youth, sports, culture and entrepreneur development exco.
Speculation on the identity of the next Selangor menteri besar had been rife since Amiruddin’s predecessor Mohd Azmin Ali was appointed as the federal minister for economic affairs on May 21.
Apart from Amiruddin, the other frontrunners for the post were Ijok assemblyperson Dr Idris Ahmad and Seri Setia assemblyperson Shaharuddin Badarudin.
The swearing-in ceremony and taking of the oath of office this morning was also witnessed by the Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor, Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin, the Raja Muda, Tengku Amir Shah, Selangor mufti Mohd Tamyes Abdul Wahid and other state officials.
Earlier, Azmin attended a handing over ceremony with Amirudin at the palace’s Balai Menghadap. He arrived with his wife Shamsidar Taharin at 8am to attend the ceremony.
During the ceremony, Amirudin also took the oath to fulfil 10 pledges throughout his term in office.
These included ensuring Islam was not threatened, while respecting other faiths, defending the royal institution and obeying the sultan’s orders.
In addition, Amirudin was also made to swear to protect the special position of the Malays and the legitimate interests of other ethnic groups, to perform his duties with integrity and responsibility, to put people first, to ensure the state’s prosperity, to protect his office from being tainted by illegal actions and to ensure unity.
