Pusha T and More Hip-Hop Stars React to Drake's Diss Track 'Duppy Freestyle'

Drake didn't hold back on "Duppy Freestyle," his response to Pusha T's diss track "Infrared." Pusha, as expected, wasn't so thrilled about the SoundCloud track.

In the freestyle released Friday (May 25), Drake calls out Kanye West and GOOD Music by rapping, “Tell ’Ye we got an invoice comin’ to you/ Considering we just sold another 20 for you.” Pusha took to Twitter in response, tweeting, "Send the invoice for the extra 20..."

The hip-hop community as a whole seemingly grabbed their popcorn to watch the feud unfold. Questlove, Crime Rhyme, Birdman and more took to social media to share their thoughts. See the tweets below.

About “Duppy Freestyle”

“Duppy Freestyle” takes shots at G.O.O.D Music artists Pusha T and Kanye West. The word “duppy” is Jamaican patois for “ghost.” Kanye is set to release an album with Kid Cudi on June 8th titled Kids See Ghosts.

The song was released the same day as Pusha T’s DAYTONA—in response to his track “Infrared,” which brought up Drake’s alleged ghostwriter Quentin Miller:

It was written like Nas but it came from Quentin

Skepta made the original “Duppy Freestyle” when he dissed fellow U.K grime artist Megaman in 2006.

The track is produced by long-time faithful Boi-1da and first-time collaborator Jahaan Sweet, as confirmed by the latter in a tweet.
