Much-needed win for RCB:
De Villiers finishes it off in style, with two sixes off Boult in the 19th over, to power RCB to a five-wicket win with an over to spare. He remains unbeaten on 72 off 37. A much-needed win for RCB, their first one away from home, as they stay alive in the competition. They are still placed seventh, with eight points and have three games remaining. Meanwhile, Delhi Daredevils became the first team to be eliminated from the play-offs race IPL 2018 - sixth successive season that they have failed to progress beyond the league stage.
RCB close in
Useful runs for Sarfraz but he departs while trying to play a scoop shot, with the fielder positioned in the deep just for that. RCB are 168 for 5 in the 18th over, needing 14 more.
150 up for RCB...
...in the 16th over. RCB need 29 more from 24 deliveries. Should be comfortable, unless DD can turn things around quickly. And the wicket of Mandeep Singh is a start. He's bowled by Boult off the first ball of the 17th over.
Kohli departs:
The partnership finally comes to an end. Kohli chases a delivery outside off that spun sharply from Mishra and ends up edging it to the 'keeper. He departs for a 40-ball 70, leaving RCB at 136 for 3 in the 14th over.

Fifty for AB, 100-run stand:
The milestone is brought up in style as Kohli whips a Harshal delivery over mid-wicket for his third six. De Villiers follows soon after with one over long-on to bring up a 28-ball fifty. The first time in this IPL that both these batsmen have registered fifties in the same game.
Deepu lists the stats:
Most 100+ stands in IPL: 9 Gayle - Kohli, 8 Kohli - AB de Villiers*, 6 Warner - Dhawan, 5 Gambhir - Uthappa
Lucky break:
Although it's tough to call that a chance. A bullet like drive from Kohli and Harshal Patel barely got his hands to the ball, and put it down. Meanwhile, de Villiers executes a scoop to perfection to get another boundary, which helps RCB to the 100-run mark in the 11th over.
Fifty for Kohli:
He brings it up with a four off Dala, getting there off 26 deliveries. This is his joint-fastest in the IPL, along with the 26-ball half-century against RR earlier in the season.
Partnership crosses 50:
De Villiers is also getting into his groove, goes over long-off for a six off Amit Mishra. The fifty partnership is up while Kohli has reached 733 runs - his most against an opposition, surpassing 732 against CSK. RCB are 76 for 2 after 8.
Fifty up for RCB:
A terrific six for Kohli over long-off off Boult in the sixth over is followed by a four for de Villiers. RCB end the PP at 58 for 2. A good start but can they sustain it?
Kohli gets into the act:
Three fours and a six off Junior Dala gets Kohli going as he provides some much-needed impetus to the innings. From mid-wicket, over mid-on and inside-out over cover, Kohli is unleashing his range of shot-making. De Villiers also gets into the act, getting a four off Harshal Patel, as does Kohli. RCB are 45 for 2 after five overs.
First wicket for Lamichhane:
It's Parthiv who has to depart, failing to pick a straight ball while attempting a sweep to be trapped in front. RCB in early trouble, reduced to 18 for 2 in the third over.
Early strike:
After a good opening over from Lamichhane, Boult picks up a wicket in the next. Going for an uppish drive, he miscues it and hands a simple catch to Shaw at cover.
Abhishek blitz lifts DD to 181:
A terrific knock from Abhishek, only 17 years old but the fearlessness of youth has come to the fore again. He finishes with an unbeaten 46 off 19, including three fours and four sixes - one four and a six off Siraj in the final over. A fine finish to DD's innings. RCB have their work cut out in the chase.
Debutant Sharma on fire:
Abhishek Sharma, the 17-year-old, has taken the attack back to RCB with a flurry of hits to and over the fence. He has raced away to 32 off 12, including 3 sixes and 2 fours, to take DD to 161 for 4 after 18.
Iyer departs:
Another key wicket for RCB. Iyer tries to flick Siraj over the on-side fence but finds Kohli to depart for 32 off 35. DD are 120 for 4.
Rishabh Pant scored yet another fifty © BCCI
Pant falls after fifty:
A six and a four off Chahal helps Pant bring up his seventh IPL fifty. However, he falls in the next over, to Moeen Ali. A brilliant catch from de Villiers, who makes up for his failure earlier. He slides and takes a diving catch inches from the ground. Pant departs for a 34-ball 61, putting the onus on Iyer now to lead the team towards a good total. DD are 109 for 3 after 13 overs.
Fifty-run stand:
Another economical over from Moeen, who gives away only four in his second over. Meanwhile, Pant and Iyer bring up the half-century stand with the latter also getting a lucky break as AB de Villiers failed to judge a catch. A couple of fours for Iyer in that Colin de Grandhomme over too as DD move to 78 for 2 after 10.
Pant powers DD forward:
An economical over from Moeen Ali to begin his spell, as he concedes only four. However, Mohammad Siraj has no such luck as Pant continues to clear the fence with ease - this time two sixes off the eighth over. DD move to 62 for 2.
Deepu stats:
Most runs in a season for DD: 552 R PANT (2018) *, 534 G Gambhir (2008), 495 V Sehwag (2012), 465 AB de Villiers (2009), 445 Q de Kock (2016).
Positive Pant:
The left-hander has continued from where he left off in the previous match. With regular boundaries, he has helped DD recover from the early wickets and has also taken back the orange cap that had gone to KL Rahul in the previous game. DD move to 44 for 2 after 6.
Chahal strikes hurt DD:
A straight ball from Chahal and the Under-19 WC winning captain - Prithvi Shaw - didn't pick it and is bowled for 2 in the opening over. Jason Roy starts in a positive fashion, scoring a six and a four off Umesh Yadav. However, he fails to pick a googly from Chahal and is bowled for 12. A fine start from RCB in what is a must-win clash for them.
Toss and teams:
Virat Kohli wins the toss and decides to bowl at home home ground - Feroz Shah Kotla. One change for RCB - Sarfaraz Khan comes in for Manan Vohra. Meanwhile, three debutants for DD - Sandeep Lamichhane, Junior Dala and Abhishek Sharma. Lamichhane becomes the second youngest overseas player to make his debut. A historic moment for Nepal cricket.
Youngest overseas players on IPL debut:

Build up
Two teams, who now stand favourites to finish at the bottom of the table, take on each other in our second game of the double header. Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Daredevils have endured tough campaigns. While DD's chances of making it to the playoffs are as good as over, RCB's hopes are hanging by a thread and if they can win tonight, they will continue to stretch themselves to see if the other results go their way. Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals winning their respective games have hurt RCB furthermore recently but a win tonight can boost their morale.
More than anything, they will hope their skipper Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers can fire in unison tonight. They have done it multiple times over the years and now, RCB need them more than ever. One positive aspect is that the conditions are good for batting in Delhi. Rishabh Pant blazed his way to a majestic ton recently and in reply, Shikhar Dhawan and Kane Williamson made a mockery of the run chase.
The stage is set once again for the batters to rule the roost but don't count the likes of Amit Mishra, Trent Boult and Yuzvendra Chahal out yet. Welcome to the live blog for the contest between DD and RCB. Hopefully, more entertainment awaits after what we witnessed earlier today in Indore.
