Just as many of us are recovering from the last one, the second Bank Holiday of the month will soon be here.
Taking place this weekend, the majority of workers benefit from a three-day weekend, meaning extra time to hit the shops.
However, typically during Bank Holiday weekends stores, including supermarkets can changes its opening hours, so to save you any confusions we've rounded-up them all important times you need to know.
Alongside the big four supermarket chain, Co-op, Aldi and Lidl tend to be hugely popular.

Asda opening times
Asda made headlines recently following the announcement of its plans to merge with rival supermarket Sainsbury's.
The retailer's opening times will remain fairly normal with the majority of its stores opening at 8am, however closing times may change.

Morrisons opening times

Morrisons is rolling out plenty of bank holiday offer this weekend, so we suspect many of you will be heading to your nearest store.
The supermarket has a range of offers available ahead of the Bank Holiday, meaning there are plenty of chances for its customers to save money.

Sainsbury's opening times

Sainsbury's fans will no doubt be relived after the news their local stores will remain during the merger with Asda which made headlines earlier this month.
The retailer has plenty of branches in Liverpool including its Rice Lane store.
Many stores will not be affected by the bank holiday and will open at the usual times, it is however the closing times, which like Asda, may change.

Tesco opening times

Supermarket giant Tesco is currently a huge clothing sale for its F&F brand, which includes pieces for both women, men and children.
A bank holiday is an ideal time to shop the sales, so for anyone planning a trip to their nearest Tesco, you'll probably be in need of these opening hours.

Aldi opening times
Budget supermarket Aldi will no doubt be full of its Special Buys this bank holiday weekend.
This week's limited edition products are all about the garden, so think gorgeous outdoor furniture pieces even including a bouncy castle, which is ideal for anyone thinking of hosting a party this weekend.

Lidl opening times

Lidl is another budget supermarket which along with Aldi has soared to popularity in the last few years.
Similar to Aldi, the retailer releasing limited collections twice a week.
Having recently released a whole range of new gin, including an orange flavoured one and also plans to release a huge clothing collections for much cheaper than other high-street stores.

Co-op

Co-op advise on its website that it considers bank holidays as a special time and due to this some stores may be closed during these periods.
The retailer advisers customers to check its website, to find what is happening with their local store.

If you need to do some last-minute barbecue shopping for the May Bank Holiday Weekend , it would be best to check to see when your local supermarket is opening and closing.
Whether you need to get some sausages, or maybe take advantage of the free beer and pink gin that's on offer this weekend. you don't want to travel all that way to then find out that its closed.
Below are the opening and closing times for the major supermarkets across Devon and Cornwall on the Bank Holiday Monday - times can differ for different branches of the same chain, so it's definitely worth checking.
Aldi
All Aldi stores across the UK will be open as normal on Bank Holiday Monday.
Usual opening hours (08:00 – 22:00) Saturday and Sunday and 08:00 – 20:00 on Monday
Tesco

Over the Bank Holiday Monday many larger Tesco supermarkets will operate reduced opening hours.
Exeter Vale Tesco is one of the many stores that fall into this category. On Monday, May 28 it will open from 9am - 6pm.
Other outlets’ times vary from store to store. Check your local Tesco using the store finder tool.
Morrisons
All branches will be open but selected stores in England, Wales and Northern Ireland will operate reduced Bank Holiday opening times - so check details of your local store, here.
Sainsbury's
All of Sainsbury's supermarkets and convenience stores will open over the Bank Holiday, however the majority of its larger stores and some smaller Local branches across the UK will operate reduced opening hours on Monday.
Check details for your local branch using the online store finder before heading out.
Lidl
Budget supermarket Lidl will open all stores across the UK as normal and all branches will open from 8am to 10pm.
Asda
All Asda branches across England, Wales and Northern Ireland will be open, but many will operate shorter opening times from 8am to 8pm.

Waitrose

Waitrose shops will trade normal hours on Saturday and Sunday.
On Bank Holiday Monday, the majority of Waitrose supermarkets will be open from 09:00 - 18:00 with some opening from 08:00-20:00 (and a few 10:00-16:00).

The Exeter High street store will open from 9am - 5pm on Bank Holiday Monday.

Most supermarkets will open normally on Saturday and Sunday
The good news for those who haven’t planned ahead is that most supermarkets will open normally on Saturday and Sunday, but might have reduced hours on Monday.
Tesco
Tesco is expected to open between 9am and 6pm in most parts of the country, with superstores in bigger cities expected to open from 8am to 8pm
Asda
Usual Monday opening hours are between 8am and 11pm, but some Asda stores will follow Sunday opening hours of 10am to 4pm
Asda stores will be quite varied around the county, so your best bet is to check your local branch online before heading out.
The UK has experienced a mixed bag of sunshine and thunderstorms over the spring Bank Holiday weekend and many Brits are enjoying an extra day off.
If you are planning a barbecue now is the perfect time to dust off the grill and stock up on the essentials, but you should also check the opening times of your nearest supermarket to save a wasted a journey.
While most major stores opened at normal hours on Sunday, many supermarkets will be opening and closing at different times on Monday.
