Tottenham were unconvincing but managed to win all the same, as Watford gifted them an opening goal and missed a few chances of their own
Tottenham Hotspur host Watford at Wembley in tonight’s Premier League match.
Spurs are in need of a win to strengthen their position in the top four – London rivals Chelsea are now only two points behind in fifth. A win will however restore the gap to five points with Liverpool just a point ahead in third.
Watford are more or less safe from relegation but have a place in the top half of the table in their sights: a win here will lift them above Bournemouth and Crystal Palace, level on points with tenth-place Newcastle United.
