Bola.com, Barcelona - Barcelona akan menghadapi Leganes dalam laga pekan ke-31 La Liga, di Stadion Camp Nou, Sabtu (7/4/2018). Skuat Catalan wajib menjaga momentum positif saat bersua sang lawan demi mengukir sejarah.
Total 38 laga telah dilalui Barcelona di La Liga sejak musim 2016-2017. Mereka pun belum terkalahkan karena berhasil menang 31 kali dan tujuh pertandingan berakhir imbang.
Jika kembali mendulang hasil positif saat bersua Leganes, Barcelona akan menjadi tim kedua yang mengklaim rekor tidak terkalahkan terpanjang sejak bergulirnya La Liga.
Real Sociedad merupakan tim pertama yang melalui 37 pertandingan tanpa kalah di La Liga, terhitung sejak April 1979 hingga Mei 1980. Kans Barcelona menyamai rekor klub Basque itu terbilang besar jika berkaca dari materi pemain saat ini.
Apalagi, Leganes juga bukan lawan sepadan bagi Lionel Messi dan kawan-kawan. Pada pertemuan terakhir, Barcelona mampu menang tiga gol tanpa balas ketika bermain di markas sang lawan.
Akan tetapi, Valverde mengaku fokus timnya bukanlah memecahkan rekor Real Sociedad. Namun, sang pelatih tidak menampik bakal bahagia jika Barcelona bisa mencetak sejarah.
"Kami tidak memikirkan mengenai rekor tersebut. Itu memang bagus untuk dicapai, tetapi kami terlebih dahulu harus menang atau imbang saat melawan Leganes. Rekor itu dipegang Real Sociedad dalam jangka waktu yang sangat lama," kata Valverde.
"Situasi itu menunjukkan betapa sulitnya untuk memecahkan rekor tersebut. Namun, tentynya akan menjadi hal indah jika kami memiliki kesempatan untuk mencetak sejarah," ujar Valverde.
Pelatih Ernesto Valverde diprediksi akan menurunkan komposisi skuat terbaiknya saat bersua Leganes. Namun, Barcelona belum bisa diperkuat Lucas Digne yang berkutat dengan cedera. Adapun Sergio Busquets juga diragukan karena fisiknya dikabarkan tengah tak prima.

After a very bad performance and a very good result against AS Roma in the Champions League, Barcelona are back in La Liga action with what promises to be a tricky game against Leganés. They aren’t the best team in the league and they’ve been crazy inconsistent all season.
They do save their best matches for the big teams, however, and they knocked Real Madrid out of the Copa del Rey to prove it. They’re safe from relegation and have nothing to lose at Camp Nou, so prepare to see them playing without fear and going for the win.
Barça have to play a lot better than they did against Roma just to build some confidence for what’s likely to be a Champions League semi-final, which will be against a top European team. Let’s see if they do.

This has HUGE “Trap Game” potential, so I expect Barça to not be at their best but still win without much trouble: 2-0 to the leaders.
GOAL, Barcelona 2-1 Leganés (El Zhar 69’): Oh boy, we have a game! El Zhar finds himself alone inside the box and fires home the first goal for the visitors. Barça fell asleep in the early minutes of the second half and paid for it. Will they wake up now?
HALF-TIME, Barcelona 2-0 Leganés: This is pretty easy, and Barça have made it a lot easier by their play. Lionel Messi with two goals and the whole team playing pretty well, and it’s been a nice watch so far. Here’s hoping it continues.
GOAL! Barcelona 2-0 Leganés (Messi 32’): Pretty good high pressing from Barça gives them the ball high up the pitch, then Philippe Coutinho finds Messi with a brilliant assist and Leo can’t miss such an easy chance. It’s now 2-0 and Barça are having a very easy night so far.

It’s La Liga day! Barcelona have pratically guaranteed a place in the Champions League semi-final, so now their job is to guarantee the league title. The draw against Sevilla was a great result because of the circumstances of that game, but the gap over Atlético Madrid is back to single digits and the Blaugrana can’t afford to be dropping points again.
Leganés are a dangerous team when they want to be, and their best performances this season came against the top sides in the league. Real Madrid crashed out of the Copa del Rey against them, and they have some really nice pieces in midfield and attack. They won’t be relegated so they have nothing to lose, so Barça have to pay attention and play their best ball to get three points.
