Only an incredible turnaround in next week’s second leg at the Stadio Olimpico will stop Barcelona from progressing after poor defending and moments of ill fortune undermined a positive display from Roma at the Camp Nou
Adapun AS Roma mempunyai 13 kesempatan, di mana tiga on target.
Mengambil inisiatif serangan sejak awal pertandingan, Barcelona menghadirkan ancaman pembuka pada menit ke-11.
Mendapat ruang tembak, Lionel Messi langsung menghunjamkan tendangan dari luar kotak penalti.
Namun, kiper AS Roma , Alisson Becker, masih dapat menepis bola.
Akan tetapi, sepakan gelandang Barcelona, Ivan Rakitic, yang membentur bek kiri AS Roma , Aleksandar Kolarov, hanya menerpa tiang gawang.

Tyers here, very much looking forward to seeing if LIONEL MESSI can match Cristiano Ronaldo's magnificent performance last night with one of his own tonight. You get the sense that Leo always wants to raise his game after Ronaldo has done something amazing, and if that is the case, well, poor old Roma.
We will have the team news from the Nou Camp as soon as it comes in.
One man who might be keen to catch highlights of this later is Mo Salah, who is a reported transfer target for either the Catalan giants or their dear friends in the Spanish capital. My colleague Alastair Tweedale wrote this last month:
Comparisons with Lionel Messi have already started, and why not? Mohamed Salah has, after all, scored more goals than the five-time Ballon d'Or winner this season, despite playing in fewer games. He has outscored Messi despite more than eight hours less game time. He has outscored Messi despite attempting 78 fewer shots. He has outscored Messi in a team 18 points off the top of the table.
Mohamed Salah is outscoring Lionel Messi and is on course to re-write the Premier League record books
Salah, of course, has other things on his mind tonight: his Liverpool side welcome Manchester City for what might be a classic. If you want to learn all about the tactical battles in that one, this is the only piece you will need. That match, like the Barcelona game, kicks off at 7.45pm UK time, and JJ Bull will be blogging that one.
Messi fans, has your man bettered CR7's strike last night? Let us know in the comments section below if you like.
I personally have a soft spot for Roma formed when I was an impressionable yoot watching Totti, so I'll be hoping they can do something tonight. We will find out the personnel who will be attempting that shortly.
