It was all good just a week ago. Now, people are questioning whether or not Jhene Aiko and Big Sean are still an item.
A report from The Jasmine Brand surfaced claiming that he and former Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger were flirting at an Oscars party. Jhene Aiko unfollowing Big Sean on Instagram ended up stoking breakup rumors.
Cameras were not allowed inside the event, so no receipts have surfaced. However, an unnamed source who was in the room told the gossip site that Aiko would not have liked what she saw. "[Sean and Scherzinger] both attended an Oscar Awards after-party together and were cozied up together sitting at a table in VIP,” the source claims. “They were all over each other and they looked really comfortable around each other. They looked like they were a couple.” Aiko allegedly got wind of this news and was furious. “She was pissed, she confronted him about it and he didn’t really deny it,” the source added.
The Shade Room captured proof of Jhene Aiko unfollowing Big Sean in a since-deleted Instagram post. She has went back to following his account at the time of publication.
The rumors may come as a shock to those who've been following their romance recently. It was only a month ago when Aiko was leaving zesty comments on Big Sean's Instagram. A few months prior, Aiko got a giant portrait tattoo of Sean on the back of her arm. Still, Twitter did not chill as these rumors spread.
Aiko, who began dating Sean in 2016, confessed that she was technically in a relationship when they first got together. Speaking with BBC Radio 1Xtra, the "Sativa" singer revealed, “We became friends the year that my brother passed...I had just met him and we worked on ‘Beware’ and ‘I’m Gonna Be.’ He wanted to take me out on a date. I had a boyfriend, but I still went…just as a friend. I had never been courtside to a game and he’s cool. I told my boyfriend ‘I’m gonna go to this game.'”
Aiko was previously married to Dot Da Genius and shares a daughter with (Omarion's brother) O'Ryan. Big Sean previously dated singer Ariana Grande and actress Naya Rivera.
For a little while there it seemed like Big Sean & Jhene Aiko’s relationship was in turmoil, that is until Jhene cleared the air on things. On Monday night, rumors surfaced online that Big Sean & Jhene’s relationship was in jeopardy after Sean had allegedly been caught flirting with Pussy Cat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger at an Oscars After party. “They were all over each other and they looked really comfortable around each other. They looked like they were a couple,” one source told The Jasmine Brand, who broke the story. Aiko reportedly caught wind of this news and was furious. “She was pissed, she confronted him about it and he didn’t really deny it,” the source then added.
In addition to that, TheShaderoom caught Jhene unfollowing Sean on Instagram in a since-deleted post, but has since followed him back. At the time, rumors were quickly spreading that the relationship was on the rocks following the rumor & alleged unfollowing, but Jhene has quickly put an end to that "fictional" story. Early Tuesday morning, Jhene hopped on Twitter and said “sorry, but nothing about you guy's fan fiction stories are true... I still love you tho,” before Sean then retweeted it.
She then added, “the internet is a wild place it's a whole other reality. bless the internet. amen.”
So it appears the break up story was just a rumor and all is thankfully good with the star couple, but we'll keep you posted if otherwise.

Big Sean is trending on Twitter after a source told popular US gossip blog, the Jasmine Brand that he cheated on his girlfriend, Jhené Aiko.
The rapper reportedly snuggled up to former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger during an Oscar’s party.
"They were all over each other and they looked really comfortable around each other. They looked like they were a couple," the source claimed.
According to InTouch Weekly, no cameras were allowed inside the party, so they thought nobody would see – but somebody reportedly spilled the cheating beans to Jhené.
Could the musical duo who gave us the album TWENTY88 be calling it quits?
It seems not. Fans were slightly mollified when Jhené took to Twitter to hit back at the rumours.
“Sorry, but nothing about you guy's fan fiction stories are true... I still love you tho”.
But she later renewed fears when she unfollowed Big Sean on Instagram, according to The Shade Room.
Fans of the cute couple were heartbroken, while others tried to see the lighter side of the rumours...
Jhené got a tattoo of Big Sean’s face on her arm last year… so here’s hoping the rumours are nothing but gossip.
