Meski bermain tanpa Luis Suarez, El Barca sama sekali tak kehilangan di lini depan.

Skuat asuhan Ernesto Valverde ini bahkan mampu unggul cepat lewat sang pengganti Luis Suarez di lini depan yaitu Pacho Alcacer pada menit ke-8 memanfaatkan umpan Jordi Alba.

Setelah gol Alcacer, Barcelona tak mengendurkan serangan dan beberapa kali nyaris mencetak gol tambahan lewat Philippe Coutinho dan Ousmane Dembele.

Gol kedua Barcelona akhirnya datang pada menit ke-30 lewat mega bintang mereka, Lionel Messi .

Fresh from beating Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League, runaway LaLiga leaders FC Barcelona play hosts to Athletic Bilbao at the Camp Nou.

The match is scheduled to get underway at 17h15.

The Catalan giants were in fine form on Wednesday evening as the defeated the Blues 3-0 to secure their spot in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.

Moving to domestic matters, Ernesto Valverde's men recorded a 2-0 win over Malaga in their last league clash thanks to goals from Luis Suarez and Philippe Coutinho.

Bilbao, meanwhile, returned to winning ways in LaLiga with a 2-0 victory over Leganes, although they sit well behind the top six.

The Basque club were involved in UEFA Europa League action on Thursday evening, where they lost 2-1 to Marseille to be eliminated at the last-16.

In head-to-head statistics, these two sides have met on 62 occassions, with Barca boasting 41 wins compared to just nine for Bilboa, while 12 matches have ended all square.

It was the Catalan giants also claimed the spoils earlier this season as goals from Lionel Messi and Paulinho secured a 2-0 win at San Mames in the reverse fixture.
