Coventry eliminated Premier League strugglers Stoke City in the FA Cup's third round with a 2-1 upset on Saturday afternoon.
Jordan Willis opened the scoring for the League Two side in the 24th minute as pressure continued to pile on Mark Hughes.
Charlie Adam leveled with a penalty after the break but Jack Grimmer’s 68th minute strike sealed a memorable win for the Sky Blues - and leaves Hughes’ job prospects hanging by a thread.
Bournemouth needed an injury-time equaliser from Steve Cook to earn a replay against Wigan following their 2-2 draw with the League One side, while Premier League basement dwellers Swansea were held by Championship leaders Swansea.

Manchester City went a goal down at home to Burnley, but came roaring back to win 4-1 with a quick fire Sergio Aguero double putting them on their way.
There were also wins for top flight sides Southampton, West Brom, Newcastle and Watford, while League One Peterborough ousted the Championship's Aston Villa with a 3-1 win.
Earlier, League One Fleetwood gave Leicester a scare but the Premier League side escaped Highbury Stadium with a goalless draw.

Ash Hunter's deflected shot hit the post in the second minute of added time, rebounding on to goalkeeper Eldin Jakupovic before hitting the post again. Jakupovic grabbed the loose ball and the visitors narrowly avoided the shock exit the television cameras present were hoping for.
The hosts, 12th in their table, comfortably held their own against a second-string Foxes starting line-up and, in truth, created the better chances.
On the positive side the sort of quirky sponsorship deal which typically crops up around the FA Cup third round meant the Cod Army's goalkeeper Chris Neal finished the game with a year's supply of pizza having been promised a month's worth for every seven-and-a-half minutes he kept the Foxes at bay.

Rudy Gestede and Martin Braithwaite, meanwhile, scored in the first half as Middlesbrough dumped dismal north-east rivals Sunderland out of the FA Cup with a 2-0 win at the Riverside Stadium.
Gestede took just 10 minutes to heap more woe on the Championship's bottom club and Braithwaite's effort just before the break effectively ensured the visitors' sole remaining focus this season will be avoiding a second consecutive relegation.

FA Cup holders Arsenal begin their title defence today but do so without manager Arsene Wenger - who has been given a touchline ban by the FA.
And Forest have wasted no time in taunting their opponents.
The Gunners boss will watch Sunday’s third-round tie at the City Ground from the stands as he serves the first of a three-game suspension.
The punishment from the Football Association is for comments the Frenchman made about the refereeing in his side’s 1-1 draw with West Brom on New Year’s Eve.
Forest said on Twitter: “Mr Wenger, if you’d like to upgrade your stand ticket to a hospitality package then you can do so by following this link. #NFFC.”
The link provided Wenger with a list of the hospitality packages on offer for the match, ranging from £95 to £1,500.
Wenger’s wallet was also hit by the FA misconduct charge, though, in the form of a £40,000 fine.
Forest themselves will be without a permanent manager in either the dugout or the stands.
Gary Brazil is in caretaker charge following the sacking of Mark Warburton.
Joe Hart prevented an FA Cup embarrassment for West Ham United on his return to Shrewsbury Town.
Paul Hurst's promotion challengers created numerous chances to have become the second giantkillers of the day after Newport County from League Two beat Championship side Leeds United 2-1.
But they were kept in it by their goalkeeper Hart, who started his career with the hosts and made two flying saves, while Jon Nolan wasted a golden chance at the death.
Shrewsbury were handed a boost before the game with the news that goalkeeper Dean Henderson – on loan from Manchester United – had been given the chance to play after being prevented from figuring in the first two rounds.
By contrast Hart seemed ill prepared on his return to his home town.
