Bek tengah sejati," lanjutnya.

"Saya menilainya sangat tinggi.

Jordan Henderson senses Liverpool will produce a swift response to the end of their unbeaten run as they aim to progress in the FA Cup – a competition he considers 'massively important'.

The Reds’ 18-game streak without defeat came to a halt on Monday night as Jürgen Klopp’s side were beaten 1-0 by Swansea City in the Premier League.

Henderson has seen enough of a reaction from his team already at Melwood to expect a much-improved performance when West Bromwich Albion visit Anfield for their fourth-round tie this evening.

Indeed, the captain demands nothing less given where the FA Cup sits in the club’s list of priorities for the season.

“I would never wish to repeat the feeling we all had coming away from Wembley after being beaten by Spurs – particularly the manner of that defeat – but I don’t mind for one second repeating how we all reacted to it, in the coming games. That’s the challenge now,” writes Henderson in ‘This is Anfield’.

“As players we’re not immune to the feelings of frustration that the supporters have after losing a game and even more so the feelings of missing an opportunity. We feel those exact same emotions, but the difference with us is that we are responsible for it and also we have a chance to put it right.

“Teams that go on to be successful always respond in a positive way. If you look at us last season there were moments where we stumbled, but we got straight back on our feet, likewise this season. I think it can become a characteristic of this team and this dressing room that we don’t sink after a loss – we make sure they are infrequent and the impact isolated.

“The reaction in training, after Monday night, told me what I needed to know straight away. The lads would have played again as soon as the coach got back to Melwood if a fixture had been scheduled. So that’s the aim now, that’s how we’ll look to get Swansea out of our system – and tonight gives us a big chance to show again we’re a team who bounces back immediately.

“It’s a big game for us – and really important to get a positive result. I know there’s always debate about the FA Cup and its importance in the modern game but I’ve never understood that discussion for even a second.

“The FA Cup is massively important for me and everyone else in our dressing room. We want to win trophies for this club and the FA Cup is one that has a lot of meaning.”

Jay Rodriguez is on a hat-trick at Anfield after a feverish opening 10 minutes before VAR controversy reigned.

The West Brom striker first cancelled out Roberto Firmino’s cleverly chipped opener which followed a defensive shocker from Jonny Evans.

Rodriguez blasted a rocket from the top of the box before getting on the end of a deft pass from Kieren Gibbs moments later for 2-1.

Craig Dawson thought he had the Baggies’ third but his header was ruled out due a team-mate in an offside position in front of Simon Mignolet.

In a VAR first, Craig Pawson went to the screen on the sideline and awarded Liverpool a penalty for Liverpool - but Firmino fired it into the woodwork.

West Brom extended their advantage on the stroke of half-time, a Joel Matip own goal given after more VAR checks.

Liverpool huffed and puffed in the second period to no avail, before Mohamed Salah gave them hope 12 minutes from time with a cool finish.

Follow all the live action below.
