When was Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's third child born?
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcomed their baby girl on January 16, 2018.
Kim, 37, announced the news in a sweet post on her website which simply read: "She's here! We're so in love."
She continued: “Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl
Kim confirmed she was pregnant on her show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
The day before the baby was born, The Sun Online exclusively revealed that the baby was due "any day now".

What have Kim and Kanye named their third child?
Three days after the birth, Kim took to her app to reveal that the couple had decided to call their newborn daughter Chicago.
The reality star shared a picture of the name, captioned with the date and time of the tot's birth, plus her weight – 7lbs, 6oz.
She retweeted a post which explains how to pronounce the shortened version of Chicago's name.
It read: "And to everyone who thinks it’s literally pronounced as CHI. No. It’s “Shy”And to everyone who thinks it’s literally pronounced as CHI. No. It’s 'Shy'"
Kanye grew up in Chicago, and has referenced the US city heavily in tracks such as "Homecoming" from 2007.
The name is a tribute to the rapper's mother Donda, who raised him there when she split from his father.

What has Kim said about the surrogate - and why is it controversial?
Kim revealed she felt compelled to tell the surrogate that she was carrying her and Kanye's child - but although she claims she "loves her", she didn't invite her to her baby shower.
She said: "I just felt like I wanted, whoever's carrying my baby, like what if they weren't a fan of me or my husband? And what if they didn't want to be carrying our baby?
“I wanted to give them that choice and be proud and on the same page and I wanted a relationship with her.”
"She was really excited! She was someone that had watched the show, not like a super fan or anything that it would have been uncomfortable, but she had seen my struggle and seen how open I was about it."
Kim raised eyebrows when she admitted that she didn't invite the mystery woman to her glamorous baby shower.
She said: "I, um, I did not [invite her]. I did introduce her to my family. I introduced her to my family earlier that day.
“And, you know, I just thought, I don’t know, it was like a weird decision to have to make.
“Of course, I would’ve wanted her to be there and be a part of it.
“But I hadn’t really gone that far in explaining it to my kids yet."

Who is Kim and Kanye's surrogate?
In July 2017 it was reported that Kim and Kanye are using an "agency" surrogate to have a third child.
And in September TMZ revealed that the surrogate is a "married African-American college graduate with two children of her own".
She's also said to be a Democrat in "great physical shape".
The identity of Kimye's surrogate has been kept private, though reports claim she was being "pampered" by the couple as she carries their bundle of joy.

Who are Kim and Kanye's other children and what are their ages?
Kim and Kanye's first child was North, who turned four on June 15, 2017.
Their second child - son Saint - was born on December 5, 2015, making him two years old.

What is surrogacy?
Surrogacy is the name given for a type of pregnancy where a woman carries and gives birth to another person's baby.
The surrogate mother is then expected to give up the baby at birth, so it can be raised by the couple who originally wanted the baby.
Surrogacy is often an option for those unable to have children themselves, or for same sex couples.
According to surrogacy charity Childlessness Overcome Through Surrogacy (COTS), there are two different types of surrogacy.
Traditional surrogacy: When the surrogate uses her own egg fertilised with the intended father's sperm.
Gestational surrogacy: The surrogate carries the intended parent's genetic child conceived through IVF, for which specialist doctors are needed

KIM Kardashian and Kanye West have finally revealed the name of their baby girl - and it is their most WTF name yet.
The couple known as ‘Kimye’ have named their bub Chicago West, Kardashiantoday announced on her social media channels.
The mother-of-three revealed in a second tweet that the baby would be known as “Chi” (pronounced “Shy”).
Kimye are already parents to 4-year-old daughter North (known as “Nori”) and 2-year-old son Saint. The couple welcomed Chicago via surrogate on Monday, weighing 7 lbs, 6 oz.
“Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl,” Kim said in a statement on her app.
“We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care.
“North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister.”

Kardashian told Ellen DeGeneres during her pregnancy that she had not decided on a name yet.
“We don’t have a name. At the baby shower, I was like, ‘I don’t want to play any baby games, measuring the belly — none of that will work for this time around. I just want everyone to write a name on a little tile and see if there’s something that sticks.’”
Some Twitter users had speculated that the baby could be called Chicago - the US city where West is from.

After leaving us in suspense for four whole days, Kim finally announced the baby name on her app and on Twitter by simply posting the words: ‘Chicago West.’
According the app post, baby girl Chicago West was born at 12.47am on 15 January 2018, and weighed 7lbs 6oz.
What we all really want to know is: what’s the inspo? Was the little one conceived in Chicago? Are we allowed to call her Windy City West?
Kim again took to her official website to announce the news herself, revealing her daughter’s weight and saying, ‘We’re so in love’ in a post entitled ‘She’s here’.

But let’s give the woman a break – it’s a grower, not a show-er!
The star took to her website again earlier this week to praise her surrogate.
On her website KimKardashianWest.com, Kim penned a personal post that gave thanks to her anonymous surrogate, who she refers to as her ‘gestational carrier’.
‘I’m so grateful for modern technology and that this is even possible,’ she added. ‘It’s not for everyone, but I absolutely love my gestational carrier and this was the best experience I’ve ever had.
‘Our gestational carrier gave us the greatest gift one could give. The connection with our baby came instantly and it’s as if she was with us the whole time.
‘Having a gestational carrier was so special for us and she made our dreams of expanding our family come true. We are so excited to finally welcome home our baby girl.’

Kim Kardashian-West and Kanye West looked North for their first child's name, and for their third baby, they looked to 'Ye's hometown. Kardashian-West revealed Friday (Jan. 19) that their new baby girl is named Chicago.
The news came in a tweet that linked to Kardashian-West's subscriber-only app with two simple words: Chicago West.
West has repped for Chi-Town his whole career, so his daughter's name is a fitting tribute. This is the third child for Kim and Kanye, joining daughter North and son Saint.
Earlier this week, fans wondered if a Louis Vuitton logo posted on Kardashian-West's Instagram was a clue to the little girl's name, but it looks like it was just a shout-out to the luxury brand.
