Blue Ivy may be just 6 years old, but she’s already calling some shots in the Carter clan.
The First Family of music turned heads on Sunday as they attended the 2018 Grammy Awards together, and it seems little Blue had to keep her superstar parents, Beyoncé and JAY-Z, in line.
Footage from the ceremony showed the little girl motioning for her parents to quiet down as they applauded while Camila Cabello gave a moving speech. As the couple — who welcomed twins in June — clapped, Blue was shown putting up her hand and gesturing toward both her mother and father.
“Blue let them know who’s REALLY in charge here,” one Twitter user wrote in response to the clip of the adorable incident.

Another tweeted, “THIS VIDEO BLUE TELLING BEYONCE AND JAY-Z TO STOP CLAPPING SO SHE COULD LISTEN TO CAMILA TALK IS ALL I NEED IN LIVE.”
At the show, little Blue rivaled last year’s look in a chic white ruffled coat, matching trousers and sparkling silver shoes, plus custody of her mother’s custom Judith Leiber Black Panther-themed clutch.
JAY-Z, who was nominated for eight awards, looked dashing in an all-black suit, while Beyoncé wore a high-neck black velvet gown featuring cut-out shoulders and a solo front panel, finishing the look with shoulder-length earrings, dark shades, a large black hat and purple lipstick.

The couple’s oldest child manages to steal the spotlight every now and then. Recently, she showed off her rapping skills on “Blue’s Freestyle,” which is a cut from JAY-Z’s 4:44 album.
Just as one may expect from the daughter of a pair of music moguls, Blue rapped, “Everything everything this is my only single thing/Everything I hear is my answer/And if you think I say, then innocent if I say?/ I never hear that, I be in the posse.”

Blue has been featured heavily in her father’s work, and most recently appeared in his “Family Feud” music video, along with her mother and several other A-list stars.

(CNN) In the Grammy category of best seat in the house, Blue Ivy Carter won.
The eldest daughter of JAY-Z and Beyoncé was photographed seated between her superstar parents during Sunday's telecast, enjoying the show.
As singer Camila Cabello introduced U2 to the stage, the 6-year-old appeared to shush her parents from clapping too loudly.
Fans were thrilled at the rare sighting.
"I have no idea what Blue Ivy is doing but I'm here for it," one fan tweeted.
Blue Ivy told her royal parents, Beyoncé and Jay-Z , to do less when it came to clapping for presenters during the Grammys, shushing them with a subtle, professional hand gesture while Camila Cabello was speaking—and the internet went insane. Beyoncé didn't walk the red carpet, but made up for the lack of entrance by wearing an epic Black Panthers- inspired outfit, and a giant hat, in her front row seat—maybe even too big, for Blue, who seemed to want her mom and dad to chill with the applause. (Some also theorized that Blue is a fan of the other members of Fifth Harmony, from which Camila Cabello departed, and so was asking her parents to please respect her stan status.) Either way, Blue is probably the only person in the world who would ever dare to tell Beyoncé to stop doing anything.

While the 60th Annual Grammy Awards were full to the brim with A-list celebrity guests, hosts, and performers - it was Beyonce and Jay-Z's six-year-old daughter who was the unlikely breakout star of the night, in more way than one.
As well as sending the internet into a spin after showing off her sassy side while telling her parents to stop clapping so enthusiastically in an adorable moment which became a viral meme within minutes, the youngster also sparked a frenzy on social media with one particularly grown-up element of her outfit.
Her high heels.

Shoes on point! Blue Ivy won praise on social media after wearing a pair of sparkly silver high heels to the Grammy Awards
Style queen: The six-year-old was hailed for her sassy sense of style, which many felt overshadowed her parents' looks at the award ceremony
Dazzling: Blue Ivy's kitten heels featured a thin ankle strap, and were covered with diamante embellishments, helping them to stand out from her all-white look
Chic: Her shoes had a low heel and a round toe, no doubt to ensure they were as comfortable as possible for the young fashion star
Despite her young age, Blue Ivy proved she can more than keep up with her famous parents in the style stakes, making quite the statement in her all-white ensemble - which helped her to stand out against her parents, who were both clad in all-black - and her silver sparkly heels.
Indeed, it was Blue Ivy's sparkly footwear that caused quite the stir on social media, stealing the spotlight almost entirely from her mother and father - with few noticing Beyonce's large hat, diamond earrings, or Alain Mikli sunglasses, and instead giving all their attention to her daughter's sassy style.
'Blue Ivy came out tonight with her bun full, edges laid, heels on, and shade in tact. I absolutely love that child,' one Grammy Awards viewer tweeted.
Meanwhile another added: 'Blue Ivy is wearing heels! She’s 6. She’s Beyoncé’s child. Ok it’s a kitten heel but still.'
One person also chimed in: 'Blue Ivy is trying to murder me with them kitten heels! Princess of Lewks and High Fashion.'
Posting several pictures of Blue Ivy sitting alongside her parents at the awards, another Twitter user jokingly wrote: 'Blue Ivy did not come to play... she got her trainer heels on and all!'
Giving it some attitude! Blue Ivy proved herself to be the breakout star of the show when she told her parents to chill out during the ceremony as they clapped for Camila Cabello
Too much, too much: With a steely gaze, and a nonchalant 'calm down' hand gesture, she immediately brought her parents to heel as they clapped enthusiastically at her side
School night: Having skipped the red carpet, music's first family sat front row, with Blue sandwiched between her superstar parents
Daddy's girl: Blue Ivy looked to be quite animated throughout the award show, making funny faces at her father, joking with her mother, and looking like she was having a great time
Some people remarked on how grown up the young girl - who became an older sister to twin siblings, Rumi and Sir Carter, back in June - now is.
'Y’all Blue Ivy is grown. She brought her heels out tonight!' one person commented, while another jokingly said: 'Blue Ivy got her heels on ready to take over the world!'
Blue and her mother were there to cheer on Jay Z, who was nominated for eight awards for his album 4:44.
And it wasn't just Blue Ivy's high heels that helped the young lady to steal the spotlight from her parents - and indeed every other A-lister in attendance at the star-studded event.
At one point during the evening, the cameras caught Blue Ivy calmly turning to her parents - who are widely regarded to be among some of the entertainment industry's coolest stars - in order to tell them to calm down and stop clapping so enthusiastically.
With a steely gaze, and a nonchalant 'calm down' hand gesture, she immediately brought them to heel as they clapped enthusiastically at her side.
Superstar: Social media couldn't get enough of Blue Ivy's sassy look
The moment, although lasting just a few short seconds, immediately captured the attention of thousands of Grammys viewers around the world, many of whom tweeted about the kindergartner's sassy attitude - while also sharing video clips of her telling Beyonce and Jay-Z to calm down.
'Yo did Blue Ivy just tell her parents to not clap? Lol,' one person tweeted, along with a GIF showing her lifting her hand up and making a 'shhh' moment to both of her parents.
'Blue Ivy controlling the crowd and the world,' another person added.
The family's outing came shortly after Jay-Z opened up about his marriage in a very candid interview, during which he appeared to admit to being unfaithful to his wife.
Speaking during an appearance on The Van Jones Show, he said: 'You can love someone but if you haven’t experienced love, and you don’t understand it and you don’t have the tools to move forward, then you’re going to have complications and you can either address it or you can pretend until until it blows up at some point.
'For us, we chose to fight for our love. For our family. To give our kids a different outcome. To break that cycle for black men and women … We were never a celebrity couple, we were a couple that happened to be celebrities. We are real people. It’s my soul mate, it’s the person I love.'
Focus: Despite being surrounded by celebrities, Blue Ivy was her parents' main focus throughout the evening
Happy family: In June 2017, Beyonce gave birth to twins, Rumi and Sir Carter, however she and Jay-Z have kep them largely out of the public eye ever since
Cheering people on: The youngster looked happy and confident as she perched alongside her parents during the show
A-list friends: At one point, Blue had an animated conversation with Alicia Keys, who was one of the evening's hosts
In 2016, 36-year-old Beyoncé released her Lemonade album which featured tracks that addressed problems the pair had been having in their marriage, most notably in the track Sorry, which includes the line 'You better call Becky with the good hair.'
Jay-Z released 4:44 a year later to address their relationship from his perspective, such as including the line Leave Me Alone Becky in the track Family Feud.
And Jay-Z previously admitted that whilst the pair had 'a lot of conversations' about the music they were releasing, hearing the tracks made them both 'uncomfortable'.
The father-of-three - the two also have seven-month-old twins Sir and Rumi - said: 'The best place in the hurricane is in the middle of it.
'The best place is right in the middle of the pain. And that's where we were sitting. And it was uncomfortable.
'And we had a lot of conversations. [I was] really proud of the music she made, and she was really proud of the art I released. And, you know, at the end of the day we really have a healthy respect for one another's craft. I think she's amazing.'
