Jakarta - Manajer Manchester United, Jose Mourinho, mengindikasikan, striker Arsenal, Alexis Sanchez, telah merampungkan proses transfer dan akan tiba di Old Trafford. Namun, Mourinho mengaku belum dapat mengonfirmasi kapan klub akan mengeluarkan pernyataan resmi.
"Jika Anda menanyakan kepada saya apakah saya berpikir dia (Alexis Sanchez) akan datang (ke Manchester United), menurut saya memang demikian. Namun, saya belum mendapat konfirmasi (kapan pengumuman resmi klub)," tutur Jose Mourinho.
Manchester United dikabarkan menggelontorkan mahar 35 juta pounds untuk memboyong Alexis Sanchez. Striker asal Chile tersebut akan mengenakan nomor punggung tujuh, yang notaben merupakan angka "keramat" milik Setan Merah.
Di Old Trafford, Alexis Sanchez, akan mendapatkan gaji 350.000 pounds per pekan. Jumlah tersebut membuatnya menjadi pemain bergaji termahal di Inggris, mengalahkan bayaran Paul Pogba (290.000 pounds per pekan).
Akan tetapi, Manchester United belum mengeluarkan pernyataan resmi transfer Alexis Sanchez lantaran masih terganjal proses negosiasi antara Henrikh Mkhitaryan dan Arsenal. Gelandang Armenia itu masuk ke dalam proposal tawaran The Red Devils untuk merekrut Alexis Sanchez.

Pada laga yang berlangsung di Stadion Turf Moor itu, Manchester United menang tipis 1-0. Gol tunggal kemenangan tim berjulukan Setan Merah itu dicetak Anthony Martial pada menit ke-54.
Duel Burnley vs Manchester United ini memang berlangsung berimbang. Dengan 51 persen penguasaan bola, pasukan Jose Mourinho melepas 12 tembakan berbanding 13 peluang milik tuan rumah.
"Kami tidak tampil brilian, tetapi cukup baik," kata Mourinho kepada BBC seusai pertandingan.
